In case you haven’t heard, My Bloody Valentine have released a new album! m b v marks their first new record in approximately 22 years. So far it has garnered an incredible response from fans and critics alike. Consequence of Sound has released a fascinating feature about the year 1991 (the year the last My Bloody Valentine record was released), and what happened during that time. It’s pretty crazy stuff. Check it out by following the link back to their site.

In some of the strangest but most awesome news of the day, David Fincher has been pegged to direct the new Justin Timberlake must video for “Suit & Tie.”
Vampire Weekend has revealed the title of their new album. They used a unique and interesting method to release the information, by taking out a low-profile advertisement in the New York Times classified section. The record, which had previously been speculated with the title Lemon Sounds will now be titled Modern Vampires of the City and will be released on May 7th, 2013. Fall Out Boy have reunited, and they have also released a new single to honor the occasion. They also booked a bunch of 2013 tour dates! Listen to “Save Rock and Roll,” and look out for your city on the list of tour dates over at Consequnce of Sound.
