Founded in 1892 by legendary environmental hero John Muir, the Sierra Club is one of the nation’s largest and most politically active environmental organizations. Completing its 120th year, the goals of the Sierra Club include; Beyond Coal, Beyond Oil, Resilient Habitats, Protecting America’s Waters, Youth and Diversity and Beyond Natural Gas.
