Nexus 4 In Stock, Available From Google Play Today

Nov 27, 12 Nexus 4 In Stock, Available From Google Play Today

The Nexus 4 will go on sale today at noon PST in the United States. After nearly two weeks of silence stemming from when the device sold out in an hour, Google sent out an email today notifying interested parties that its newest flagship Android device would be available from the Google Play store today.

The Nexus 4, manufactured by LG, can be purchased in two configurations: 8GB for $299 and 16GB for $349. The device is sold unlocked, which means it can be used with any mobile carrier that supports SIM cards. In the United States that means AT&T, T-Mobile, and some smaller regional characters.

The phone runs the latest version of Google’s mobile operating system, Android 4.2. The OS rolled out to existing Nexus devices last week, although there were widespread reports of bugs including random reboots and battery drain.
