Weather Forecast for North America on September 5, 2013

High pressure along the Ohio River Valley will bring partly cloudy skies to the region. There will also be a few places over northern Minnesota and Maine that could be looking at frost. A few showers will be over Greenland and a few more showers and thunderstorms over the Southeast and Gulf Coast. Partly cloudy skies will be found from the Rockies to the west coast, while showers will be over southern Alaska. Cold air will be in place over a good portion of Canada, from west to east, with temps in the 50’s and 60’s along with cooler 30’s for Greenland. Temps will warm to the 60’s and 70’s over the northeast US, while 70’s and 80’s will dominate the weather from the Southeast to the Gulf Coast. Temps will also be in the 80’s and 90’s over the Plains again.

Weather Forecast for South America on September 5, 2013

From Peru to northern Chile will see partly cloudy skies, while showers will be possible over portions of Brazil. Expect partly cloudy skies will prevail from central and southern Chile to Argentina, as well. Peru and northern South America will be in the 60’s, while Brazil will be in the 70’s and 80’s. Northern Argentina and Chile will be in the 50’s, while the 30’s hit southern Argentina and Brazil.

Weather Forecast for Europe and the Middle East on September 5, 2013

England to northern Europe will see partly cloudy skies, while sunny skies will dominate the weather from Spain to Italy and southward into the Middle East. Western Europe, including England, will be in the 70’s with a few 80’s, while Spain to Italy will be in the 80’s with a few 90’s. Temps across the Middle East will be in the 100-110 range again.

Weather Forecast for Africa and the Cape Verde and Madagascar Islands on September 5, 2013

Northern Africa will see partly cloudy skies, while showers will be along the Inter-Tropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) from east to west in central Africa. Partly cloudy skies will dominate the weather for South Africa, while a few showers develop over Madagascar. The majority of Africa will see temps in the 80’s while South Africa will be in the 70’s.

Weather Forecast for Southeast Asia on September 5, 2013

The southwest monsoon will start to pick back up over the area providing plenty of rainfall from India to Sri Lanka, while afternoon showers and thunderstorms will dominate the weather from Singapore to Malaysia and northward into Vietnam. Temps will be in the 80’s and 90’s for the majority of the region form India to Malaysia and northward into Thailand.

Weather Forecast for Eastern Asia and the island of (Guam) on September 5, 2013

High pressure will bring partly cloudy skies from northeast Russia into central China around Shanghai; this will also extend towards Seoul. While the remains of the tropical move across eastern Japan, bringing with it heavy rainfall for places like Tokyo. Afternoon showers and thunderstorms will be possible from Hong Kong to Manila and eastward into Guam. Northeast Russia will be in the 50’s warming to the 70’s and 80’s across Shanghai and Seoul into Tokyo, as well. Temps will be in the 80’s and 90’s for Guam, Hong Kong and Manila.

Weather Forecast for the Island of (New Zealand) and Australia for September 5, 2013

A frontal boundary moving through southwest Australia will bring showers to Perth, while afternoon showers will also be possible over Brisbane. The remainder of Australia should enjoy partly cloudy skies, including Sydney. Northwest Australia will be in the 80’s, while Perth and Sydney will both be in the 60’s.
