Weather Forecast for North America on September 30, 2013

Showers along a frontal boundary will be over Greenland, while high pressure keeps eastern Canada and the eastern United States partly cloudy. A strong storm system moving out of the Plains and into the Great Lakes will extend into the Gulf Coast bringing showers and thunderstorms to the region. A strong on shore flow will bring another day of heavy rainfall over the Pacific Northwest. Temps will range from the 30’s over Greenland to the 50’s over eastern Canada. Expect to see the 60’s in the northeast US, warming to the 70’s and 80’s for the southeast and Gulf Coast. Temps will be in the 60’s and 70’s over the Plains and in the 50’s for portions of the Pacific Northwest.

Weather Forecast for South America on September 30, 2013

Showers over Peru will give way to partly cloudy skies over Brazil; there will also be showers found over northern Argentina. Southern Argentina and Chile will have partly cloudy skies and cool weather. Temps will range from the 70’s over Peru to the 80’s, along with a few 90’s into Brazil. Expect to see temps fall to the 70’s over northern Argentina, further cooling to the 40’s over southern Argentina and also Chile.

Weather Forecast for Europe and the Middle East on September 30, 2013

Partly cloudy skies will dominate the weather from England to northern Europe. A few showers will be possible from Germany to Italy, with partly cloudy skies over Spain and France, as well. Temps will be in the 50’s over northern Europe, warming to the 60’s for southern Europe and the 70’s and 80’s from Spain to Italy. Temps will be in the 90-105 range for the Middle East.

Weather Forecast for Africa and the Cape Verde and Madagascar Islands on September 30, 2013

Northern Africa will see partly cloudy skies with a few isolated showers possible. Central Africa will see mostly cloudy skies with showers and thunderstorms, especially along the Inter-Tropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ). Partly cloudy skies will dominate southern Africa, with a few showers over Madagascar. Temps will be in the 80’s and 90’s over most of Africa, with a few 70’s over central and southern Africa.

Weather Forecast for Southeast Asia on September 30, 2013

The region will enjoy favorable weather as the southwest monsoon will be further south, allowing for partly to mostly cloudy skies over India and Sri Lanka. Expect to see showers and afternoon thunderstorms from Singapore to Malaysia and northward into Vietnam and Thailand. Vietnam will also be dealing with strong winds and heavy rainfall as Wutip begins to approach the area. Temps will be in the 80’s and 90’s for the most part, while the cooler spot will be over Vietnam due to all the cloud cover and rainfall. Temps may only get into the upper 70’s and lower 80’s.

Weather Forecast for Eastern Asia and the island of (Guam) on September 30, 2013

A weak cold front moving through the region will bring a few showers to portions of eastern Russia, while partly cloudy skies will dominate the weather from eastern China to Seoul and eastward into Tokyo. Hong Kong to Manila will also enjoy partly cloudy skies with limited chances of rainfall. Guam will have a few afternoon showers. Temps will range from the 30’s over northern Russia to the 50’s across northern Japan and the 70’s and a few 80’s from Shanghai to Seoul and into Tokyo. Temps will be in the 80’s for Hong Kong along with Manila and into Guam.

Weather Forecast for the Island of (New Zealand) and Australia for September 30, 2013

Partly cloudy skies will dominate the weather from Perth to northern Australia and then southeastward towards Sydney. The region will see temps in the 80’s and 90’s over northern Australia cooling to the 60’s and 70’s across southern Australia from Perth to Sydney and into Auckland.
