Weather Forecast for North America on September 29, 2013
High pressure will keep the East Coast dry; however, a strong cold front moving through the middle of the United States will bring showers and strong to severe thunderstorms to the region. High pressure will keep the southwestern United States dry, as well. A strong push of onshore moisture associated with a storm system near Alaska will bring heavy rainfall to western Canada and the Pacific Northwest. Temps will be in the 30â€™s over Greenland, warming to the 50â€™s over eastern Canada and the 60â€™s over the eastern US. It will further warm to the 70â€™s and 80â€™s for the southeast and Gulf Coast.
Weather Forecast for South America on September 29, 2013
Showers will extend over Peru, giving way to partly cloudy skies over Brazil. Showers will then again be possible from northern Argentina, while partly cloudy skies will extend from southern Argentina into Chile. Temps will range from the 60â€™s over Peru to the 80â€™s into Brazil, cooling to the 60â€™s for northern Argentina and then down into the 30â€™s for southern Argentina and Chile.
Weather Forecast for Europe and the Middle East on September 29, 2013
The majority of Europe will see partly cloudy skies extending from England to Norway and through Germany. Sunny skies will prevail from Spain to Italy and southward into the Middle East. Temps will be in the 50â€™s over northern Europe warming to the 60â€™s and 70â€™s from England to Germany and the 70â€™s and 80â€™s across southern Spain to Italy and further warming to the 100-110 range across the Middle East.
Weather Forecast for Africa and the Cape Verde and Madagascar Islands on September 29, 2013
Northern Africa will see partly cloudy skies, while showers and isolated thunderstorms will be over central Africa. Looking into southern Africa, we will see partly cloudy skies and another breezy day. Temps will range from the upper 80â€™s to lower 90â€™s across most of northern Africa. We will see mid 80â€™s over central Africa, cooling to the 70â€™s for southern Africa.
Weather Forecast for Southeast Asia on September 29, 2013
The southwest monsoon will break down a little bit and push southward allowing for a drier day over most of India and also into Sri Lanka. Afternoon showers and thunderstorms will be possible from Singapore to Malaysia and into Thailand. Temps will range from the 80â€™s to 90â€™s across the entire region.
Weather Forecast for Eastern Asia and the island of (Guam) on September 29, 2013
High pressure over eastern China will keep the region dry and cool from Shanghai to Seoul and eastward into Tokyo. Afternoon showers will be possible over Hong Kong. This will also extend into Manila and further eastward to Guam. Temps will range from the 40â€™s over northern Russia to the 50â€™s for northern Japan. It will warm to the 70â€™s over eastern China into Seoul and over towards Tokyo. Hong Kong will have temps in the 80â€™s along with Manila and Guam.
Weather Forecast for the Island of (New Zealand) and Australia for September 29, 2013
A frontal boundary approaching southwest Australia will bring showers to the region, while partly cloudy skies will dominate the rest of the area from northern Australia into Sydney. Temps will be in the 80â€™s and 90â€™s over northern Australia, cooling to the 70â€™s for Perth and Sydney.
