Weather Forecast for North America on September 28, 2013

High pressure over the east coast will give places like New York and Baltimore partly cloudy skies and cool weather. The southeast and the Gulf Coast will enjoy partly cloudy skies and mild weather. Partly cloudy skies will be found over the southwest and portions of the West Coast. Heavy rainfall will dominate the weather over the Pacific Northwest. Temps will be in the 30’s over Greenland, warming to the 40’s for eastern Canada. Look for 50’s and 60’s for the eastern US, warming to the 70’s and 80’s over the southeast and Gulf Coast. Temps will be in the 70’s over most of the Northern Plains, warming to the 80’s over the Southern Plains. Temps over the Rockies will be in the 40’s and 50’s.

Weather Forecast for South America on September 28, 2013

Peru to Brazil the region will see partly cloudy skies. This will extend southward over Argentina and into Chile, as well. Temps will be in the 70’s over Peru, warming to the 80’s for Brazil. Expect it to cool to the 60’s over northern Argentina and further cool to the 40’s over southern Argentina and Chile.

Weather Forecast for Europe and the Middle East on September 28, 2013

High pressure will keep the region dry and mostly mild. However, partly cloudy skies and cooler weather will be in place over northern Europe. Partly cloudy skies will also extend from England to Germany, while sunny skies will extend from Spain to Italy and into the Middle East. Temps will be in the 40’s over northern Europe, warming to the 60’s for England and central Europe. The 70’s and 80’s will dominate southern Spain into Italy, while temps will rise to the 90’s-110 over the Middle East.

Weather Forecast for Africa and the Cape Verde and Madagascar Islands on September 28, 2013

Partly cloudy skies will prevail from the Cape Verde Islands across most of northern Africa, while a few showers and thunderstorms will be possible over central Africa. Southern Africa will see partly cloudy skies along with breezy conditions. The majority of Africa will see temps in the 80’s and 90’s. However, 70’s will still dominate South Africa.

Weather Forecast for Southeast Asia on September 28, 2013

The southwest monsoon will be active again across the region from India to Sri Lanka. This will bring areas of heavy rainfall over the region. Afternoon showers and thunderstorms will be found from Singapore to Malaysia into Thailand. While a tropical storm will bring impacts to Vietnam with heavy rainfall and flooding concerns along with gusty winds. Temps will be in the 80’s and 90’s across the region. There will be a few lower 70’s over Vietnam near all the tropical moisture.

Weather Forecast for Eastern Asia and the island of (Guam) on September 28, 2013

High pressure over Siberia will shift into eastern Russia, bringing nice weather to the region. This will extend out into Japan, as well, where another area of high pressure will be found. Partly cloudy skies will also dominate the Hong Kong region, while afternoon thunderstorms will be possible for both Guam and Manila. Temps will be in the 30’s over northern Russia, warming to the 50’s for northern Japan. Expect 70’s and 80’s for eastern China and into Japan. Temps will be in the 80’s over Hong Kong, into Manila and eastward towards Guam.

Weather Forecast for the Island of (New Zealand) and Australia for September 28, 2013

Australia will enjoy partly cloudy skies all across the northern region. It will become mostly cloudy over the southern region from Perth to Sydney, but rainfall should be limited across the region. Hot weather will also persist with temps in the 80’s and 90’s over northern Australia, along with 60’s from Perth to Sydney.
