Weather Forecast for North America on September 24, 2013

High pressure will bring nice weather to the eastern US, while a few showers will be possible over the southeast and Gulf Coast. High pressure will also bring nice weather to the Rockies. A few showers will be possible over Alaska as a low pressure moves into the area. Temps will be in the 30’s over Greenland and northeast Canada, warming to the 50’s over eastern Canada. The northeast US will be in the 60’s and the southeast and Gulf Coast will be in the 80’s. Temps over the Plains will range from the 70’s and 80’s. Temps over the West Coast will be in the 60’s and 70’s.

Weather Forecast for South America on September 24, 2013

From Peru to Brazil, southward over Chile and all of Argentina will have partly cloudy skies will dominating the region. There will be a few more clouds over southern Argentina, but the region should remain dry. Eastern Brazil will have temps in the 80’s and 90’s, while temps over Peru will be in the 60’s along the coast, warming to the 70’s inland. Temps for Chile will be in the 50’s for lower elevations cooling to the 30’s over higher elevations. Temps for Argentina will be in the 50’s for the north and the 30’s over the south.

Weather Forecast for Europe and the Middle East on September 24, 2013

A storm system moving through northern Europe will bring showers to the region, and a few of these showers will advance into Germany, as well. Partly cloudy skies will stretch from England into northern Spain and France. Sunny skies will dominate the weather from southern Spain into Italy and then further southeastward over the Middle East. Temps will be in the 40’s over northern Europe warming to the 60’s and 70’s from England to Germany. It will further warm to the 80’s and 90’s over southern Spain into southern Italy. Temps will be in the 90-105 range for the Middle East.

Weather Forecast for Africa and the Cape Verde and Madagascar Islands on September 24, 2013

Northern Africa will see sunny skies, while west central Africa will see a few showers. This will give way to partly cloudy skies for east central Africa along with Madagascar and into southern Africa. The skies will be mostly cloudy over the Cape Verde Islands. The majority of Africa will be in the 80’s with a few 90’s over the northern portion, along with a few 70’s over southern Africa.

Weather Forecast for Southeast Asia on September 24, 2013

The southwest monsoon will bring another day of moderate rainfall over Sri Lanka and into India. We will also be watching a strong wave moving across the basin towards Diego Garcia. Afternoon showers and thunderstorms will be possible from Singapore to Thailand and into Malaysia. Temps will be in the 80’s and 90’s across the entire region.

Weather Forecast for Eastern Asia and the island of (Guam) on September 24, 2013

High pressure over most of southeastern China will keep the region dry and allow it a chance to recover from all the storm damage. A frontal boundary will extend from Shanghai to Seoul and eastward into Tokyo; along this boundary will be showers and thunderstorms. The skies will be partly cloudy for Hong Kong, while afternoon thunderstorms will hit Manila and eastward into Guam. Temps will range from the 40’s over northeast Russia to the 60’s over eastern China. It will warm to the 70’s for most of Japan, with a few 80’s, as well. Temps will be in the 80’s over Hong Kong and Guam warming to the 90’s for Manila.

Weather Forecast for the Island of (New Zealand) and Australia for September 24, 2013

Partly cloudy skies will dominate the weather from western Australia to eastern Australia and through most of northern Australia, as well. There will also be partly cloudy skies over most of New Zealand. Temps will be in the 80’s over northern Australia cooling to the 60’s over southeast and southwest Australia.
