Weather Forecast for North America on September 16, 2013:

Hurricane Ingrid will continue to push westward into Mexico with heavy rains, damaging winds, and storm surge that will also bring impact to the region. The rainfall will spread northward into Texas, as well. Showers will be possible along the northeast, spreading into Greenland. The West Coast will see partly cloudy and warm. Tropical Storms will bring heavy rainfall to the Pacific side to the western side of Mexico. Temps will be in the 20-30’s over Greenland and much of northeast Canada. It will warm to the 50’s for eastern Canada and the 60’s over the northeast US. Expect to see it warm to the 80’s over the southeast and Gulf Coast, while the southern Plains will be in the 80’s and 90’s. Temps over the west will range from the 70’s along the coast to the 80’s over interior parts of the west.

Weather Forecast for South America on September 16, 2013

Peru to Brazil will see partly cloudy skies. This will extend into northern Argentina, as well. A strong storm system moving across southern Chile and Argentina will bring another day of showers and snow showers to the region. Brazil will see temps in the 80’s, cooling to the 70’s over most of Peru, while temps rapidly fall to the 30’s over Chile and southern Argentina.

Weather Forecast for Europe and the Middle East on September 16, 2013

High pressure will keep the region generally nice with partly cloudy skies from England to Norway. Expect sunny skies to dominate the weather from Spain to Italy and southeastward into the Middle East, as well. Temps will be in the 50’s over northern Europe, warming to the 60’s over England and the 70’s and 80’s over southern Spain will extend into Italy, while temps rise to the 100-110 range over the Middle East.

Weather Forecast for Africa and the Cape Verde and Madagascar Islands on September 16, 2013

Partly cloudy skies will dominate the weather over northern Africa. This will give away to showers and thunderstorms over Central Africa. A strong gradient will setup for strong winds over South Africa. Africa will see temps in the 80’s and 90’s, except for the higher elevations of central Africa and also over southern Africa where temps will be in the 60’s and 70’s.

Weather Forecast for Southeast Asia on September 16, 2013

The southwest monsoon will continue to bring moderate rainfall over Sri Lanka and into southern India, while afternoon showers and thunderstorms will also be possible form Singapore to Thailand. Temps will be in the 80’s and 90’s across the entire region from India to Sri Lanka and eastward towards Singapore and Thailand.

Weather Forecast for Eastern Asia and the island of (Guam) on September 16, 2013

Strong cold front extending from northern Russia into central China will bring showers to the region. Tropical Storm Man-yi will continue to bring showers and thunderstorms and flooding rains to Tokyo and astern Japan. Hong Kong to Manila and eastward into Guam will see afternoon showers and thunderstorms. Temps will be in the 30’s over northern Russia, warming to the 50’s for northern Japan and the 70’s and 80’s across Japan. The Korea’s and eastern China will see temps warm to the 80’s for Hong Kong and Guam, and the upper 80’s for Manila.

Weather Forecast for the Island of (New Zealand) and Australia for September 16, 2013

Multiple storm systems moving through the region will lead to periods of heavy rainfall from Perth to Sydney and northward towards Auckland. Partly cloudy skies will dominate most of northern Australia including Brisbane. Northern Australia will see temps in the 70’s, cooling to the 50’ and 60’s over southwest and southeast Australia along with extensive cloud cover.
