Weather Forecast for North America on September 13, 2013

Low pressure near Greenland will bring showers to the region, while a frontal boundary extends along the eastern US. This will bring showers and thunderstorms to the region. Showers and thunderstorms will be on the increase along the Gulf Coast, as well. The southwest monsoon will continue to bring moderate to heavy rainfall over the southwest US. Expect partly cloudy skies over the western US along with warm temps. Temps will be in the 20’s and 30’s over northeast Canada and Greenland. Warm air will be on the increase over the Plains and the Gulf Coast, along with the eastern US. Temps will range in the region from the 70’s and upper 80’s along with a few 90’s over the Plains.

Weather Forecast for South America on September 13, 2013

Peru to Brazil will enjoy partly cloudy skies and warm weather, while northern Chile and northern Argentina will enjoy the same. Another storm system moving through southern Chile and Argentina will bring rain and snow showers to the region. Temps will be in the 80’s over most of Brazil and westward into portions of Peru. Temps will be in the 50’s over northern Chile and Argentina, while southern Argentina and Chile will see temps in the 30’s.

Weather Forecast for Europe and the Middle East on September 13, 2013

Partly cloudy skies will stretch from England to northern Europe and most of central Europe, along with Western Russia. Sunny skies will be found from Spain to Italy and southward into the Middle East. Northern Europe and western Russia will see temps in the 50’s, warming to the 60’s and 70’s over England, France and Spain. Southern Spain to Italy will be in the 80’s and 90’s, while the Middle East will see temps in the upper 90’s to 110 range.

Weather Forecast for Africa and the Cape Verde and Madagascar Islands on September 13, 2013

Northern Africa will see partly cloudy skies and warm temps, while central Africa will see another day of moderate rainfall associated with the enhanced convection along the Inter-Tropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ). A storm system moving south of South Africa will bring gusty winds to the region. Northern Africa will see temps in the 80’s and 90’s, while central and southern Africa will be in the 70’s.

Weather Forecast for Southeast Asia on September 13, 2013

The southwest monsoon will continue to bring enhanced rainfall to the region, extending from northern India to Sri-Lanka. Expect afternoon showers and thunderstorms to extend from Singapore to Malaysia. The region will have temps in the 80’s and 90’s from India to Malaysia.

Weather Forecast for Eastern Asia and the island of (Guam) on September 13, 2013

A boundary setup over Japan will bring another day of showers and thunderstorms to the region, along with potentially heavy rainfall. Partly cloudy skies will prevail over the Korea’s and eastern China, while showers and thunderstorms will extend from Hong Kong to Manila and eastward towards Guam. We are watching a potential very large Typhoon in the making to the northwest of Guam. A very cold push of Arctic air will push into northeast Russia with temps in the 20’s and 30’s, warming to the 70’s and 80’s over eastern China and into Japan. Temps will be in the 80’s and lower 90’s from Hong Kong to Manila and eastward over Guam.

Weather Forecast for the Island of (New Zealand) and Australia for September 13, 2013

A frontal boundary moving through southwest Australia will bring showers to Perth, while tropical moisture will be on the increase over northeast Australia to include Brisbane. Partly cloudy skies will dominate the weather over southeast Australia and New Zealand. Northern Australia will see temps in the 70’s, while temps over Perth and Sydney will be in the 50’s and 60’s.
