Weather Forecast for North America on October 17, 2013

A storm system moving across the Great Lakes and into the northeast will bring a few showers to the region. There will also be isolated thunderstorms along the Gulf Coast. The rest of the United States will see high pressure and cool weather. Showers will be possible for both Hawaii and Alaska. Temps will range from the 30ā€™s over eastern Canada to the 50ā€™s over the eastern US, while the 70ā€™s and 80ā€™s will dominate the southeast and Gulf Coast. Temps will be in the 60ā€™s over the Plains along with a few 50ā€™s, while the West Coast will be in the 60ā€™s and 70ā€™s.

Weather Forecast for South America on October 17, 2013

There will be a few showers over Peru, but otherwise look for partly cloudy skies from Brazil to Argentina and over Chile. Temps will range from the 70ā€™s over Peru to the 80ā€™s and 90ā€™s in Brazil, cooling to the 80ā€™s over Argentina It will further cool to the 60ā€™s for southern Argentina.

Weather Forecast for Europe and the Middle East on October 17, 2013

Partly cloudy skies will extend from England to Norway and into Germany and westward back over Spain. Showers and thunderstorms will be possible over Italy. The Middle East will have sunny skies and will be very warm with high temps in the 90ā€™s. Temps will be in the 50ā€™s over northern Europe, warming to the 60ā€™s for England and the 70ā€™s and 80ā€™s over Italy and Spain.

Weather Forecast for Africa and the Cape Verde and Madagascar Islands on October 17, 2013

There will be partly cloudy skies over northern Africa, while showers will be possible for the Cape Verde Islands. Partly cloudy skies will persist over southern Africa while showers and thunderstorms will be found over Central Africa. Temps will range from the 80ā€™s over the north to the 70ā€™s in central and southern Africa.

Weather Forecast for Southeast Asia on October 17, 2013

The region will remain fairly dry, with a few isolated showers over India; otherwise look for afternoon showers from Singapore to Thailand and into Malaysia. Temps will range in the 80ā€™s and 90ā€™s across the entire region.

Weather Forecast for Eastern Asia and the island of (Guam) on October 17, 2013

High pressure will settle in over the Koreas. This will bring partly cloudy skies from Shanghai to Tokyo and into Hong Kong. Afternoon showers and thunderstorms will be possible over Manila, with a few isolated showers over Guam. Temps will be in the 30ā€™s over northern Russia, warming to the 50ā€™s for northern Japan. Expect 60ā€™s and 70ā€™s from Tokyo to Seoul and southward into Hong Kong. The 80ā€™s will dominate the weather over Manila and Guam.

Weather Forecast for the Island of (New Zealand) and Australia for October 17, 2013

Partly cloudy skies will extend from western Australia to northern Australia and into Sydney. Temps for this region will be in the 60ā€™s over southern Australia, while temps will be in the 80ā€™s over most of northern Australia.
