Weather Forecast for North America on October 16, 2013

A frontal boundary moving across the Great Lakes will bring showers to the East Coast, along with a few thunderstorms back into Texas, which will lead to another day of possible flooding. High pressure will build in over the Rockies and the West Coast. Temps will range from the 30’s over Greenland to the 50’s over eastern Canada, warming to the 60’s and 70’s for the East Coast, with a few 80’s over the Gulf Coast. Temps will be in the 40’s over the Northern Plains with the chance of a large area of frost and freezing conditions possible.

Weather Forecast for South America on October 16, 2013

Expect partly cloudy with a few showers over southern Peru, northern Argentina and southern Brazil, while the rest of the continent will see partly cloudy skies. Temps will be in the 60’s over Peru, warming to the 80’s over Brazil and the 70’s over northern Argentina. It will cool to the 50’s for southern Argentina and Chile.

Weather Forecast for Europe and the Middle East on October 16, 2013

A few showers along a frontal boundary will impact England, while the rest of Europe from Norway to Spain and eastward into Italy will enjoy partly cloudy skies. This will give way to sunny skies over the Middle East. Temps will range from the 40’s over Norway to the 60’s in England, warming to the 70’s and 80’s for Spain and Italy, while the Middle East will be in the 90’s.

Weather Forecast for Africa and the Cape Verde and Madagascar Islands on October 16, 2013

Partly cloudy skies will extend from northern Africa into central Africa. There will be a few showers possible along the eastern shores of Somila; however, the remainder of Africa will be dry and warm. Temps will range from the 80’s and 90’s to the 70’s over southern Africa, along with breezy conditions over South Africa. Showers will extend into Madagascar, as well.

Weather Forecast for Southeast Asia on October 16, 2013

Partly cloudy skies will be over India, giving way to afternoon showers from Singapore to Malaysia and northward into Thailand and Vietnam. Temps will be in the 80’s and 90’s over the region, from India to Singapore and eastward into Vietnam.

Weather Forecast for Eastern Asia and the island of (Guam) on October 16, 2013

Partly cloudy skies will extend from northeast Russia to central China. This region will see temps in the 20’s and 30’s, warming to the 50’s over eastern China. Typhoon conditions will continue along eastern Japan, while showers and thunderstorms, along with strong winds and storm surge, will impact the entire region. Temps will be in the 70’s over the region, cooling to the 50’s over northern Japan. Partly cloudy skies will prevail over Hong Kong, giving way to showers and thunderstorms for Manila and Guam. Temps will be in the 80’s for all locations.

Weather Forecast for the Island of (New Zealand) and Australia for October 16, 2013

Partly cloudy skies will dominate all of Australia, while showers will develop over New Zealand, to include Auckland. Temps will be in the 80’s and 90’s over northern Australia, cooling to the 70’s and 80’s over southern Australia and into Auckland, New Zealand.
