Weather Forecast for North America on October 11, 2013
A low pressure working up the eastern US will bring with it heavy rainfall from Baltimore to New York, along with gusty winds and coastal flooding. High pressure will extend from the Great Lakes to the Gulf Coast, while another storm system moves out of the Rockies and into the Plains. Low pressure in the Gulf of Alaska will bring showers. Temps will range from the 30’s over Greenland to the 50’s over northeast Canada and into the 60’s over the eastern US, while the southeast and Gulf Coast will be in the 70’s and 80’s. Temps will be in the 70’s over the Southern Plains, and the 50’s and 60’s over the Northern Plains.
Weather Forecast for South America on October 11, 2013
Partly cloudy skies will prevail from Peru to Brazil and over Chile along with southern Argentina. There will be a few showers over northern Argentina. Temps will be in the 60’s for Peru to the 80’s over Brazil and cooling to the 60’s for northern Argentina and the 50’s for southern Argentina and Chile.
Weather Forecast for Europe and the Middle East on October 11, 2013
High pressure will bring partly cloudy skies to England and into northern Europe, along with Spain and France. There will be some showers over Italy, while sunny skies and hot weather will be found over the Middle East again. Temps will range from the 50’s over northern Europe to the 60’s over England. Expect it to warm to the 80’s for Spain and Italy, with further warming to the 90’s and 100’s over the Middle East.
Weather Forecast for Africa and the Cape Verde and Madagascar Islands on October 11, 2013
Northern Africa will see partly cloudy skies, while a few showers will extend over central Africa and into Madagascar; moderate rainfall will be possible over Madagascar. Partly cloudy skies and breezy conditions will be felt over southern Africa. Temps will range in the 80’s over northern Africa along with a few 90’s, while pockets of 70’s will be found over central Africa and also over southern Africa.
Weather Forecast for Southeast Asia on October 11, 2013
Tropical Cyclone Phailin will be moving through the Bay of Bengal and making landfall in eastern India over the next couple of days with strong winds, storm surge and flooding rains. The remainder of the region from Sri Lanka to Singapore and into Thailand will see partly cloudy skies with a few afternoon showers. Temps will be in the 80’s and 90’s across the entire region.
Weather Forecast for Eastern Asia and the island of (Guam) on October 11, 2013
Low pressure moving over northeast Russia will bring a few snow showers along with rain showers. This will extend into eastern China, the Korea’s and Japan. Typhoon Nari continues to track towards Manila, while a new tropical is developing around Guam and will bring moderate rainfall to the region, as well. Temps will be in the 30’s over northeast Russia to the 50’s for northern Japan warming to the 60’s and 70’s over eastern China, into the Korea’s and towards Tokyo. Temps will be in the 80’s over Hong Kong, Manila and also Guam.
Weather Forecast for the Island of (New Zealand) and Australia for October 11, 2013
Partly cloudy skies will persist across most of Australia from Perth to Sydney and northward into Brisbane, as well. Temps will be in the 80’s over northern Australia and the 60’s and 70’s from Perth to Sydney.
