Weather Forecast for North America on May 8, 2013
Low pressure moving along the east Coast of the US will bring showers to the region; expect partly cloudy skies for the southeast and Gulf Coast, while another storm system moves into the central Plains and bring showers to the region.Â A few afternoon showers will be possible over Hawaii, along with the easterly trade winds. Â Warm air will be in place over the east coast of the US with temps in the 60â€™s while 70â€™s and 80â€™s will be found along the Gulf Coast. Greenland and Iceland will see temps in the 20â€™s and 30â€™s. Look for 50â€™s and 60â€™s along the western United States, while the southwest will be in the 80â€™s and 90â€™s.

Looking at a few showers over the northern part of South America associated with afternoon tropical activity, also a frontal boundary moving through the southern tip of South America will bring showers to parts of Argentina. The remainder of South America will enjoy partly cloudy skies. Â The eastern tip of Brazil will see temps in the upper 80â€™s while the 70â€™s dominate most of South America, except for the western part from Chile southward in the higher elevations temps will be in the 40â€™s.Â Southern Argentina will be in the 30â€™s and lower 40â€™s.

A frontal boundary moving towards England and Western Europe will bring showers to the region. Expect to see showers from England southward towards Spain, while high pressure over central Europe will bring nice weather to Germany and southward towards Italy. Look for a few clouds in the Middle East, but it will be warm again. Warm air will be in place from England to Spain with temps in the 60â€™s and 70â€™s, while the 80â€™s dominate southeastern Europe.Â Temps across the Middle East will be in the 90â€™s and a few 100â€™s.

The entire continent of Africa from north to south will see partly cloudy skies and no accumulating precipitation on the day. The Cape Verde Islands and Madagascar will be partly cloudy as well. The majority of Africa will be in the 80â€™s and 90â€™s; the exception will be Southern Africa where high temps will be in the 70â€™s and lower 80â€™s.Â The Cape Verde Islands and Madagascar will enjoy 70â€™s and 80â€™s.

Partly cloudy skies will be found from northern India towards Sri Lanka, while afternoon showers will stretch from Singapore to Jakarta and northward into Malaysia and Thailand. The heat will be in place across most of India with high temps in the upper 90â€™s and a few 100â€™s will also be possible.Â Look for the 80â€™s in Singapore and Malaysia.
Weather Forecast for Eastern Asia and the island of (Guam) on May 8, 2013
Partly cloudy skies will be found over northeast Russia, while showers associated with a frontal boundary will be found over eastern China.Â High pressure over Japan will bring sunny skies to the region; the sunny skies will expand southward into Hong Kong and also Manila. Expect to see light easterly winds and sunny skies for Guam as well. The 40â€™s will be across northeast Russia and northern Japan, while the 60â€™s and 70â€™s will hit eastern China and into the Koreaâ€™s across to most of Japan. Temps will be in the lower 80â€™s for Hong Kong and the 90â€™s over Manila, cooling to the 80â€™s for Guam.
Weather Forecast for the Island of (New Zealand) and Australia for May 8, 2013
An area of low pressure moving through northern Australia will bring partly cloudy skies over the region.Â Partly cloudy skies will also stretch from Perth to Sydney.Â Look for showers associated with a frontal boundary to impact the weather over New Zealand. Â Temps will be in the 70â€™s for Peru and warming to the 80â€™s over the outback. The eastern half of Australia will see high temps in the 70â€™s while the cool spot will be Sydney with temps in the 50â€™s.
