Weather Forecast for North America on May 5, 2013

Low pressure will be moving towards the Mid-Atlantic; this will bring showers to the region. Partly cloudy skies will dominate the weather from Greenland to Iceland. High pressure over the Plains will bring partly cloudy skies to the region and a very warm day in store for the western United States. A new storm system approaching the west coast of Canada will bring showers to the area; also look for afternoon showers over Hawaii. Mild weather will begin to rebound over most of the United States. We will see 60’s and 70’s possible for most of the country, with a few 80’s in Florid and the West.

Weather Forecast for South America on May 5, 2013

Partly cloudy skies will dominate most of the country, while a few showers will be possible from central South America and also over southern Argentina. The northern 2/3 of South America will see temps in the upper 80’s and a few 90’s as well. Argentina will see temps in the 70’s. Look for 40’s and 50’s across the southern part of South America.

Weather Forecast for Europe and the Middle East on May 5, 2013

A frontal boundary approaching England will bring showers to the region and mostly cloudy skies to parts of Scandinavia, while sunny skies will dominate the weather from Spain to Italy.  The Middle East will be dry and very warm. The 60’s and 70’s will dominate a good portion of Europe, while the 50’s will be found over the Scandinavian region and into Western Russia.  The 80’s will be found over parts of southeast Europe with 90’s, with 100’s for the Middle East.

Weather Forecast for Africa and the Cape Verde and Madagascar Islands on May 5, 2013

Partly cloudy skies and high pressure will create a warm day over most of Africa, while a few showers will be possible near Somalia. A very nice sunny day will be in store for northern Africa and into Cape Verde, as well. Partly cloudy skies will dominate the weather over Madagascar. The extreme northern part of Africa will be in the 70’s, while most of the country from east to west in the center will see high temps in the upper 80’s to lower 90’s.  South Africa will be the cool spot with temps only in the 50’s. Madagascar will also be in the 70’s and 80’s.

Weather Forecast for Southeast Asia on May 5, 2013

Sunny skies and very warm weather will dominate the pattern from New Delhi into southern India, while afternoon showers will be possible from Sri Lanka eastward into Singapore and further east towards Malaysia and Jakarta. Hot weather will dominate this entire region with India seeing temps in the 90’s and 100’s and Singapore to Jakarta being in the upper 80’s.

Weather Forecast for Eastern Asia and the island of (Guam) on May 5, 2013

A storm system moving through Northeast Russia will bring a few showers to the region. While partly cloudy skies will dominate the weather from Eastern China into Japan. Partly cloudy skies will also be found from Hong Kong eastward into Manila. Easterly trade winds will bring a few afternoon showers to Guam. Northern Japan and northeastern Russia will be the cool spots with temps only in the 40’s. Eastern China and into the Korea’s will be in the 70’s, while Tokyo only gets into the 60’s.  Hong Kong will enjoy the lower 80’s, while Manila soars into the lower 90’s. Look at a cooler day across Guam with high temps in the mid 80’s.

Weather Forecast for the Island of (New Zealand) and Australia for May 5, 2013

High pressure over eastern Australia will bring partly cloudy skies to most of the continent from Brisbane in the north to Perth in the southwest and Sydney in the southeast. Showers will be possible across most of New Zealand. The extreme northwest part of Australia will be in the upper 80’s, while most of Australia will be in the 70’s. Southeast Australia into New Zealand will be cool with high temps in the 60’s.
