Weather Forecast for North America on May 4, 2013:

Showers will move into the southeast United States and parts of the Mid-Atlantic to start the weekend. An area of low pressure will be moving through Greenland bringing snow showers to the region. Look for cloudy skies to dominate the entire Plains region along with colder weather. Partly cloudy skies will dominate the west coast. Cold air will be in place from Greenland to Iceland with high temps in the 20’s. Look for the 30’’s and 40’s over the northern Plains, while the southern Plains and Gulf Coast will be in the 50-60’s. The warmest weather will be over the southwest US.

Weather Forecast for South America on May 4, 2013

Showers will be possible over northern South America along the Inter-tropical convergence zone. Partly cloudy skies will dominate the weather over most of South America, while partly cloudy skies will be found from Brazil into Argentina. High temps will be in the 70-80’s for Brazil cooling to the 50’s for northern Argentina, while temps fall to the 30’s over southern Argentina. The 70’s will dominate northwest South America for Peru.

Weather Forecast for Europe and the Middle East on May 4, 2013

Showers will push across England and Western Europe associated with a frontal boundary moving through the region. Partly cloudy skies will dominate the weather from central Europe into Italy; this will also spread over to the Middle East. Temps will be in the 40’s over Scandinavia, while warming to the 50’s over England and Spain. Look for a few 60’s and 70’s over southeast Europe for places in Italy mostly. Temps will be in the upper 80’s to lower 90’s for the Middle East.

Weather Forecast for Africa and the Cape Verde and Madagascar Islands on May 4, 2013

Partly cloudy skies will be found across northern Africa, while showers will be possible over central Africa and into Madagascar. Partly cloudy skies will dominate South Africa and the Cape Verde Islands. Temps will be in the 80’s and 90’s through most of Africa with the coolest spots being the northwest where temps will be in the upper 70’s, while South Africa will see temps in the lower 70’s.  The 60’s with showers will dominate most of Madagascar.

Weather Forecast for Southeast Asia on May 4, 2013:

Mostly cloudy skies expected across India and into Sri Lanka. Afternoon showers will be possible from Singapore into Jakarta and northward towards Malaysia. The heat will be on again for India with another day of temps over 100F for many places. Temps will cool to the upper 80’s for Singapore and into Jakarta along with Malaysia.

Weather Forecast for Eastern Asia and the island of (Guam) on May 4, 2013

Mostly cloudy skies will dominate northeast Russia and into northern Japan. Partly cloudy skies will be found from central China into the Korea’s and eastward towards Tokyo. Partly cloudy skies and very warm weather will be over Manila, while a few afternoon showers will be possible for Guam.  Northeast Russia will see temps in the 40’s and 50’s, while the 60’s will dominate Seoul and Tokyo and warming to the 70’s over most of eastern China to include Hong Kong.  The 80’s will be found in Manila and Guam.

Weather Forecast for the Island of (New Zealand) and Australia for May 4, 2013

Partly cloudy skies will dominate western Australia, while a few showers will be possible over northern Australia. Mostly cloudy skies will extend down the eastern coast into Sydney. Showers will be possible over New Zealand.  Look for the 70’s over the west coast, while the 60’s will be into Sydney and eastward towards Auckland.
