Weather Forecast for North America on May 30, 2013
Showers will be possible over Iceland, while partly cloudy skies will dominate the weather from Greenland to eastern Canada. A frontal boundary moving through the center of the United States will bring moderate severe weather and thunderstorms to the region from the Dakota’s to Texas and also over into the Gulf Coast region, extending northward into the Ohio River valley. Showers will also be ahead of a frontal boundary over western Canada and into southern Alaska. Hurricane Barbara will impact parts of Mexico with heavy rains and strong winds along with storm surge. Another very cold day in store for Greenland with temps only in the 20’s, while Iceland will hit the mid 30’s. The 50’s and 60’s will dominate most of eastern Canada. The 70’s and 80’s will be in control of the southeast and Gulf Coast. The 70’s and 80’s will also be out over the Plains with another day of severe weather.
Weather Forecast for South America on May 30, 2013
Partly cloudy skies will dominate most of the country, with the exception being in northeast Brazil where a few showers and thunderstorms will be possible. The upper 70’s will be over Brazil, while the 60’s dominate the rest of the northern area, quickly cooling to the 40’s for the central region and even some 30’s for the south around southern Argentina.
Weather Forecast for Europe and the Middle East on May 30, 2013
Partly cloudy skies are in store for England into Germany and western Russia, while a few showers develop over Scandinavia. Sunny skies will be found over Spain and France, while showers will impact Italy, as well. Sunny skies and warm weather will dominate the Middle East. Cool 60’s will be over western Europe warming to the 70’s for places like Italy. Another warm day is in store for the Middle East with places in the 100-105 range for high temps.
Weather Forecast for Africa and the Cape Verde and Madagascar Islands on May 30, 2013
Northern Africa and the Cape Verde Islands will enjoy partly cloudy skies. A few showers will be found across west-central Africa; otherwise look for partly cloudy skies in South Africa and into Madagascar. The majority of Africa will be in the 80’s with a few 90’s possible. South Africa will only get into the 70’s. The Cape Verde Islands and Madagascar will be in the upper 70’s to lower 80’s.
Weather Forecast for Southeast Asia on May 30, 2013
Hot and sunny weather in store for northern India, giving way to afternoon showers over southern India and into Sri Lanka. Showers will also be possible from Singapore to Jakarta and northward into Thailand. Hot weather in store for all of Southeast Asia, with temps in the 100-108F range for northern India cooling to the upper 90’s for Sri Lanka and Singapore and the lower 90’s across Thailand and also Jakarta.
Weather Forecast for Eastern Asia and the island of (Guam) on May 30, 2013
A frontal boundary moving through northeast Russia will bring showers to the region; these showers will extend southward through Japan and westward into the Korea’s and over eastern China. Partly cloudy skies will dominate the weather for both Hong Kong and Manila. The easterly trade winds will kick up a few showers across Guam. The 50’s and 60’s will dominate northeast Russia, as well as northern Japan. The 70’s will be found over eastern China, into the Korea’s and towards Tokyo. The 80’s will hit Hong Kong, while the 90’s move into Manila; the stronger trade winds will keep Guam into the lower 80’s.
Weather Forecast for the Island of (New Zealand) and Australia for May 30, 2013
Western Australia, to include Perth, will enjoy partly cloudy skies, as will Brisbane. However for Sydney, a few showers will be in store for the area, while Auckland enjoys partly cloudy skies. Northern Australia will see temps in the 70’s while Perth only gets into the 60’s. Sydney will be in the 40’s along with Auckland NZ.
