Weather Forecast for North America on May 23, 2013
A frontal boundary will be impacting the east coast with showers and thunderstorms from Maine to Florida. Showers on the backside of the low pressure will be over the Great Lakes. Partly cloudy skies will be found over the western United States; a few showers will be possible over Western Canada. Temps will be in the 30â€™-40â€™s for Greenland, while the 50â€™s will dominate eastern Canada. The 60â€™s and 70â€™s will be found along the east coast near the frontal boundary, cooling down into the 50â€™s behind the front. The 70â€™s and 80â€™s will be over the southeast and Gulf Coast. Temps will be in the 60â€™s for good portions of the west coast and warming to the upper 70â€™s for Hawaii.
Weather Forecast for South America on May 23, 2013
Showers will be found throughout northern South America, into parts of Brazil and along the southwest coast. Partly cloudy skies will dominate Argentina. Temps will be in the 70â€™s for Chile and Brazil, cooling to the 50â€™s for upper Argentina. Expect even cooler temps across southern Argentina with temps in the 40â€™s.
Weather Forecast for Europe and the Middle East on May 23, 2013
Partly cloudy skies will be found across most of England and Western Europe, with a few showers over Italy and into Germany. Partly cloudy skies will dominate northern Europe, as well across the Scandinavian countries. There is also the potential of seeing a few showers spread across portions of the Middle East. Temps will be in the 60â€™s for England, warming to the 70â€™s for Spain and France and possibly a few 80â€™s over Italy. The Middle East will be warm again with high temps in the 90â€™s and a few 100â€™s.
Weather Forecast for Africa and the Cape Verde and Madagascar Islands on May 23, 2013
Mostly cloudy with a few showers across the northern Africa, while it will be will partly cloudy over central and southern Africa. Expect mostly sunny skies for the Cape Verde Islands and partly cloudy for Madagascar. The 70â€™s and 80â€™s will stretch across a good portion of Africa, while the 70â€™s will dominate the Cape Verde Islands and also Madagascar.
Weather Forecast for Southeast Asia on May 23, 2013
Partly cloudy skies will be over northern India giving way to afternoon showers and thunderstorms from Sri Lanka into Singapore and eastward towards Thailand and Jakarta. Northern India will be very warm again with high temps in the 100-110F range, while temps will drop to the 90â€™s for Sri Lanka and into Singapore with a few upper 80â€™s possible over Thailand and Jakarta.
Weather Forecast for Eastern Asia and the island of (Guam) on May 23, 2013
Cloudy skies over extreme northeast Russia, while showers will be possible near the coastline of Russia. Partly cloudy skies will extend from Shanghai to Seoul and into Tokyo. A few afternoon showers will be possible in Hong Kong, otherwise expect partly cloudy and warm for Manila. The easterly trade winds will bring a few afternoon showers to the region as well. Temps will be in the upper 50â€™s to mid 60â€™s for northeastern Russia and northern Japan. We will see warming into the 70â€™s for eastern China, the Koreaâ€™s and parts of Japan. Hong Kong will be in the 80â€™s, while Manila will see high temps around the mid 90â€™s. Easterly trade winds will keep Guam in the lower 80â€™s.
Weather Forecast for the Island of (New Zealand) and Australia for May 23, 2013
Partly to mostly cloudy skies will be seen across a good portion of Australia and into New Zealand. Temps will be in the 60â€™s for most of Australia, while a few 70â€™s will be found in northern Australia. Auckland and Sydney will both see temps in the upper 60â€™s.
