Weather Forecast for North America on May 22, 2013

A strong cold front will continue to move eastward through the Ohio River valley and the Gulf Coast. Expect to see showers and thunderstorms along this boundary with some severe weather very possible. Partly cloudy skies will be along the west coast, while showers will be over western Canada. A few snow showers are possible in parts of Alaska. Greenland and Iceland will see temps in the 20’s and lower 30’s, warming to the 50’s over eastern Canada. The 60’s and 70’s will dominate most of the east coast of the US, while 80’s filter into the Gulf Coast. The northern Plains and Pacific Northwest will be cool, with high temps only in the 50’s.

Weather Forecast for South America on May 22, 2013

Partly cloudy skies will be possible over the northern parts of South America, while showers will be found from Brazil southward into Argentina. Partly to mostly cloudy skies will be over Chile and Peru. Brazil will see temps in the 70’s and 80’s, while Chile only gets into the 60’s. Argentina will range from the 50’s in the north to the 30’s over the south.

Weather Forecast for Europe and the Middle East on May 22, 2013

Partly cloudy skies are in place for England, giving way to sunny skies from Spain to Italy. There will be mostly cloudy skies found from Germany northward into Norway, with a few showers possible, as well. A warm day is in store for the Middle East with plenty of sunshine. The 50’s and 60’s will dominate from England into Norway. The upper 70’s to lower 80’s will be found from Spain to Italy. The Middle East will see high temps in the 90’s and 100’s.

Weather Forecast for Africa and the Cape Verde and Madagascar Islands on May 22, 2013

Sunny skies are in store for northern Africa, giving way to a few showers along the northwest region. Partly cloudy skies will be found over South Africa and along the east coast. Madagascar will also see partly cloudy skies, while the Cape Verde Islands will see sunny skies with a few passing clouds. The extreme northwest part of Africa will be in the 70’s along with South Africa; the remainder of Africa will be in the 80’s. Madagascar and the Cape Verde Islands will be in the upper 70’s to lower 80’s.

Weather Forecast for Southeast Asia on May 22, 2013

Showers will be possible over extreme northern Southeast Asia near Pakistan, while partly cloudy skies will stretch into India. Afternoon showers will dominate the weather from Sri Lanka eastward into Singapore and also over Thailand and Jakarta. Hot weather is expected across most of India with high temps in the upper 90’s to around 107F. Warm weather will be over Singapore and Sri Lanka with both places getting into the mid 90’s. The upper 80’s will be found from Thailand to Jakarta.

Weather Forecast for Eastern Asia and the island of (Guam) on May 22, 2013

Mostly cloudy skies will be found over northeast Russia with a few isolated rain showers also possible in the region. Mostly cloudy skies will extend over the Korea’s, while partly cloudy skies will be found for both Shanghai and Tokyo. Hong Kong will see sunny skies and this will expand into Manila and Guam. Northeast Russia will be in the 40’s while northern Japan will be around 60F. Tokyo and Seoul will be in the upper 60’s to lower 70’s; however, eastern China will be in the mid 80’s. Hong Kong will also be in the 80’s, but Manila will soar into the upper 90’s while Guam cools to the lower 80’s.

Weather Forecast for the Island of (New Zealand) and Australia for May 22, 2013:

Sunny skies will be found from Brisbane back to the west and down the coast to Perth. The east coast will see partly to mostly cloudy skies for places like Sydney, while Auckland has rain showers. The northern part of Australia will be in the upper 70’s to lower 80’s, but Perth will see temps in the mid 60’s, Sydney will see temps only get to near 50, while Auckland may only be in the 40’s.
