Weather Forecast for North America on May 16, 2013
Low pressure over the central Plains will bring showers and thunderstorms to the southern Plains. Partly cloudy skies will be seen from the east coast of the US into eastern Canada, Greenland and Iceland. A new storm system will bring showers and snow showers to parts of Alaska. The 30’s and 40’s will dominate most of Greenland and Iceland, while the 50’s are found along the east coast of Canada and the northeast US. Temps will warm into the 70’s for the southeast and the lower 80’s over the Gulf Coast. Temps will be in the 70’s for Los Angeles cooling to the 50’s for Vancouver and then the 80’s over Hawaii.
Weather Forecast for South America on May 16, 2013
Cloudy skies will stretch across the northern part of South America, while partly cloudy skies will be found from eastern South America all the way across the western South America; this will also be true for the Argentina region as well. The mid 70’s are forecasted for Brazil, cooling to the upper 60’s for Peru; expect Argentina to drop into the 30’s and 40’s.
Weather Forecast for Europe and the Middle East on May 16, 2013
Partly cloudy skies will extend from Scandinavia southwestward into England and then across over to Spain and France; a few showers will be possible across parts of Italy. Partly cloudy skies will also dominate the heat driven Middle East. Temps will range from the 40’s over northern Europe to the 50’s in England and the 60’s for France and Spain. Italy will be the warm spot with temps in the upper 70’s to lower 80’s. The Middle East will be warm again with high temps in the 90’s and 100’s.
Weather Forecast for Africa and the Cape Verde and Madagascar Islands on May 16, 2013
There will be a few showers across northern Africa, while partly cloudy skies will dominate the rest of the region. Look for a few showers for Madagascar, while sunny skies will be found across the Cape Verde Islands. Temps will be in the upper 60’s to lower 70’s for northern Africa, while the upper 60’s will be found throughout most of Africa. The Cape Verde Islands will hit the lower 70’s, while Madagascar hits the 80’s.
Weather Forecast for Southeast Asia on May 16, 2013
Tropical Cyclone is ready to make landfall into Southeast Asia, just to the east of India. Expect to see heavy rains along with strong winds and storm surge to impact the region. Partly cloudy skies are expected from northern India, while showers will be possible over Sri Lanka. Afternoon showers and thunderstorms will be possible from Singapore into Thailand and southward towards Jakarta. A warm day is in store for the northern India region, with temps hitting the 100-105F mark. The 80’s will dominate Sri Lanka and Singapore. Temps in the Thailand to Jakarta area will be in the mid 80’s.
Weather Forecast for Eastern Asia and the island of (Guam) on May 16, 2013
Mostly cloudy skies are expected over northeast Russia, while cloudy skies will dominate northern Japan and the Kuril Islands. Partly cloudy skies over Shanghai will give way to showers for Tokyo. Afternoon showers will also be found from Hong Kong to Manila and eastward into Guam. The 40’s and 50’s will be found throughout northeast Russia along with northern Japan, while the 60’s and 70’s will dominate from Shanghai to Seoul and eastward towards Tokyo. Because of showers, Hong Kong will remain cool with high temps only in the lower 70’s. Manila will be in the lower 90’s, while Guam enjoys 80’s.
Weather Forecast for the Island of (New Zealand) and Australia for May 16, 2013
Cloudy skies for New Zealand will become partly cloudy over southeast Australia and even nicer for western Australia. Temps will be in the 60’s for western Australia, cooling to the 50’s for southeast Australia to include Sydney, while the 40’s could be over New Zealand.
