Weather Forecast for North America on March 31, 2013
Low pressure moving through the southern plains will bring showers and isolated thunderstorms to the southeast and Gulf Coast. High pressure building in over the northern Rockies and plains will bring yet another round of below normal temps to the region. Mostly cloudy skies will prevail from Greenland to Iceland. An area of low pressure moving across the eastern Pacific will bring clouds to Alaska and portions of the West. High pressure will make for a nice day across the southwest. Temps will be well below zero across Iceland and Greenland, warming to the teens and 20â€™s through most of Canada. The northern part of the United States will see temps in the 30-40â€™s, while the southern plains and gulf coast will enjoy a nice warm day with temps in the mid 60â€™s to lower 70â€™s for many.
Weather Forecast for South America on March 31, 2013
High pressure over the northern part of South America will bring a partly cloudy day to the region; however, look for a few showers along the Brazilian Coast. High pressure will bring partly cloudy skies to the remainder of the country. Temps will warm to the upper 80â€™s through most of Brazil and the mid 60â€™s to lower 70â€™s for portions of Peru, while the 50â€™s and 60â€™s will dominate most of Argentina. The west coast and the Andes will see high temps in the 30-40â€™s.
Weather Forecast for Europe and the Middle East on March 31, 2013
An area of low pressure moving through central Europe will bring showers and cloud cover to the region including portions of Italy. High pressure moving through the northern part of Europe will bring partly cloudy skies and cold weather to the region. Partly cloudy skies will prevail from England southward into Spain and France. Sunny skies will dominate the Middle East along with warm weather.Â Temps in the Middle East will be in the upper 80â€™s to mid 90â€™s for places away from the water.Â Italy will enjoy temps in the mid 70â€™s, while 50â€™s and 60â€™s will dominate Spain and most of France. England will see temps in the 30â€™s and lower 40â€™s. Northern Europe and western Russia will see temps well below freezing for the day.
Weather Forecast for Africa and the Cape Verde and Madagascar Islands on March 31, 2013
Look for showers through central Africa along a weak trough; otherwise expect partly cloudy skies through South Africa. A dry day is expected across northern Africa, as well. Temps will be in the mid 80â€™s for northern Africa, while the majority of the country will see high 80â€™s and a few 90â€™s for the day.Â Partly cloudy skies will prevail across Madagascar and the Cape Verde Islands.
Weather Forecast for Southeast Asia on March 31, 2013
A nice day from India eastward across most of southeast Asia; however, there will be a few afternoon showers for places such as Singapore and Indonesia. Temps will range from the mid 80â€™s to near 90 for some places, while portions of southeast Indonesia could see high temps in the lower 80â€™s due to rain showers in the area.
Weather Forecast for Eastern Asia and the island of (Guam) on March 31, 2013
Low pressure moving through northeast Russia will bring snow showers to the area. High pressure over eastern China will bring partly cloudy skies to the Koreaâ€™s and extend into Japan. Partly cloudy skies will prevail across southeast China to include Hong Kong. A few afternoon showers will be possible across Manila. Partly cloudy skies will be dominant over Guam. Temps will range from the -10 to -20F for northeast Russia to the teens and 20â€™s for northern Japan. It will get up to the 50â€™s and 60â€™s through eastern China and portions of Japan, while the 70â€™s and 80â€™s will dominate Hong Kong and Manila.
Weather Forecast for the Islands of (New Zealand) and Australia for March 31, 2013
Most of Australia will enjoy partly cloudy skies with the exception being Sydney, where there will be a few showers mixed in with the clouds. High pressure over New Zealand will bring partly cloudy skies to the region and this will extend westward into Brisbane. Temps will be in the mid 50â€™s for New Zealand and back towards Sydney, while northern Australia will see temps around the mid 70â€™s to lower 80â€™s. Western Australia will also see 70â€™s and 80â€™s.
