Weather Forecast for North America on March 28, 2013

High pressure over the Eastern United States will bring partly cloudy skies from Chicago to New York and southward into Florida for the day. Warmer weather will slowly shift from the western part of the United States to the Plains during the day. Partly cloudy skies will be found through most of Greenland. Moving southward, Mexico is also looking at partly cloudy skies for the capitol. Temperatures will be below zero from Greenland southward into portions of Canada. High temps will be in the upper 40’s to lower 50’s for a good portion of the East Coast; look for Florida to be in the 60’s. The southwest will be the warmest with temps in the 70’s.

Weather Forecast for South America on March 28, 2013

High pressure to the south of Peru will bring partly cloudy skies to a good portion of the west coast. Temps for this region will be in the upper 40’s. Partly cloudy skies will also prevail over the east and will bring warm weather to the region, with high temps ranging from the 80’s in Brazil to the upper 60’s and lower 70’s for the southeastern part of the country.

Weather Forecast for Europe and the Middle East on March 28, 2013

High pressure over Central Europe will influence most of the country with partly cloudy skies and very cold weather. High temps will range from the teens-20’s in Scandinavia to the upper 30’s and 40’s through Central Europe and then the upper 50’s to lower 60’s from the Spain to Italy line. Look for partly cloudy skies and very warm conditions over the Middle East with high temps in the upper 80’s to lower 90’s.

Weather Forecast for Africa and the Cape Verde and Madagascar Islands on March 28, 2013

An area of low pressure will move through northern Africa; however, it will not bring any rain with it, so expect to see hot conditions through the majority of the country. The northwest portion of the country will see cooler weather with high temps in upper 70’s to lower 80’s. There will be a few showers on the western coast of Central Africa, but nothing major. Look for sunny skies through the Cape Verde Islands and mild weather with a high in the mid 70’s. There will be a chance for afternoon showers in the Madagascar region and cooler temps in the upper 70’s to a few in the lower 80’s.

Weather Forecast for Southeast Asia on March 28, 2013

Sunny skies will prevail across most of the region; the exception will be in the south around Singapore and portions of Thailand where showers will be possible during the afternoon. High temps for the region will be in the upper 80’s and a few lower 90’s away from the water.

Weather Forecast for Eastern Asia on March 28, 2013

High pressure moving into northern Japan will bring partly cloudy skies to the region; this will expand southward into the Korea’s as well. Look for some showers to develop ahead of the next frontal boundary near Shanghai.  An area of low pressure moving through northeast Russia will bring snow showers and colder weather to the region. A nice day is forecasted for Hong Kong and Manila; with high temps in the 60’s for Hong Kong to the mid 80’s for Manila. The 50’s and 60’s will spread northward towards the Shanghai region, while 30’s and 40’s will dominate the Korea’s and Japan. Northeast Russia will see temps in the 20’s.

Weather Forecast for the Islands of (Guam and New Zealand) and Australia for March 28, 2013

An area of low pressure will be pushing through to the north of Australia; however, a few showers will be possible over the northern part of Australia. Light easterly winds will bring partly cloudy skies to Guam. High pressure over southwest Australia will bring partly cloudy skies to the region. Partly cloudy skies are also forecasted for places throughout southern Australia and into New Zealand. Temps will range from the upper 80’s over the central part of Australia to the lower to mid70’s across eastern Australia, and the mid 50’s over extreme southern Australia around Sydney.
