Weather Forecast for North America on March 26, 2013

Low pressure pushing away from the United States will bring increasing winds and some snow to Iceland and Eastern Canada. High pressure building in over the center of the United States will bring very cold conditions, with frost and freeze possible as far south as the Gulf Coast. A strong area of low pressure moving into Alaska will bring strong winds and moderate snowfall to the region. Easterly trade winds will bring partly cloudy skies to Hawaii. Temperatures for the majority of North America are going to be well below normal as the strong high pressure area from Canada will bring in the cold frigid air all the way to the Gulf Coast of the United States.

Weather Forecast for South America on March 26, 2013

High pressure over eastern South America will bring partly cloudy skies. A few showers will be possible over Peru and the western side of the country. An area of low pressure traveling southeast of the country will bring extensive cloud cover to the western portion. High temps will be in the upper 80’s along the coast of Brazil, to the upper 70’s to lower 80’s for the majority of the region; the coldest air will be found along the Andes.

Weather Forecast for Europe and the Middle East on March 26, 2013

Low pressure will be moving towards England bringing extensive cloud cover and a few snow showers to the region. Low pressure moving towards Italy will bring cloudy skies to the area. An area of low pressure moving through northwest Russia will bring snow showers to the Scandinavia area, and also near Moscow. Expect to see dry conditions with plenty of sunshine for the Middle East. Cold air will build in from the northeast over Russia and into central Europe. The upper 60’s to lower 70’s will be possible through southern Europe. The Middle East will see temps in the upper 80’s with some 90’s likely, especially away from the water.

 

Weather Forecast for Africa and the Cape Verde and Madagascar Islands on March 26, 2013

High pressure to the west of the Cape Verde islands will bring partly cloudy skies to the region; this will extend into northwest Africa. There will be a few showers over south central Africa near a cold front that is moving through the region. High pressure to the south of Africa will bring partly cloudy skies to South Africa. The low pressure near Madagascar will bring showers and stronger winds to the area. The northern part of Africa will see temps in the upper 70’s to lower 80’s, while the rest of the country deals with temps in the upper 80’s to lower 90’s; this will expand into Madagascar as well.

Weather Forecast for Southeast Asia on March 26, 2013

High pressure will bring pretty tranquil weather to the majority of the region. A few showers will be possible near Singapore and over towards Thailand. The region will enjoy upper 80’s temps.

Weather Forecast for Eastern Asia on March 26, 2013

High pressure center over Japan will bring partly cloudy skies to the region. A newly developing low pressure area over eastern China will bring increased clouds and moderate winds across the region; this will extend into the Korea’s. Partly cloudy skies will prevail through Hong Kong and eastward towards Manila. The majority of eastern China will see high temps in the upper 50’s to lower 60’s, while Japan and Korea will be seeing temps in the lower 50’s.

Weather Forecast for the Islands of (Guam and New Zealand) and Australia for March 26, 2013

Easterly trade winds will bring some afternoon showers to the Guam area. A large area of high pressure moving in from the west will bring a very nice area of partly cloudy skies and moderate winds to the majority of western Australia. Look for tropical moisture to expand across the northern part of Australia which will bring afternoon showers to the region. High pressure near New Zealand will bring partly cloudy skies to the island. Central Australia will see temps in the upper 80’s, while the west coast and east coast both see temps in the upper 70’s.
