Weather Forecast for North America on March 25, 2013
Low pressure moving up the east coast of the United States will bring with it an early spring bout storm with moderate snowfall possible and also some strong thunderstorms through the Carolina’s. High pressure building in over the Northern Plains is going to bring some very cold air to the United States with some places seeing temps fall 20 degrees below normal for this time of year. An area of low pressure will be approaching the Alaskan coast and will bring strong winds, high seas and snowfall to the region. High pressure over Greenland will keep the region cool; this will spread into Iceland as well. Another very cold period in store for a good portion of North America from Canada to the US Gulf Coast. Temps along the gulf coast could be in the upper 60’s only for highs. Temps through Mexico look too warm to the 70’s along the coast to the 50’s in higher elevations.
Weather Forecast for South America on March 25, 2013
The northern part of the country will see an increase in coverage of the tropical moisture flowing along the Inter tropical convergence zone. The majority of eastern South America will be dominated by high pressure to the east which will bring partly cloudy skies to the region. Look for some gradient induced stronger winds over the southern tip of South America for tomorrow. Upper 80’s will be possible in Northeast Brazil, while the majority of the country sees temps in the lower to mid 70’s. The Andes region will see temps in the upper 50’s. The southern tip of South America could be dealing with temps in the upper 40’s to lower 50’s.
Weather Forecast for Europe and the Middle East on March 25, 2013
A frontal boundary will extend across the majority of Western Europe to include the Scandinavian region and back into England, expect to see snow showers in the north and rain showers in the south along this frontal boundary, heavy rain could be possible in Italy. High pressure over Southwest Russia will bring partly cloudy skies to the region and cold air. A weak area of low pressure will move through the Middle East, this low will bring increased clouds and stronger winds to the area which could lead to some blowing sand and dust in the area. Cold air will extend from England to the east –northeast through most of Northern Europe and all of Russia. Temps will be in the 50-60’s along a line from Spain to Italy. A warm day in store for the Middle East with temps in the upper 80’s to lower 90’s.
Weather Forecast for Africa and the Cape Verde and Madagascar Islands on March 25, 2013
High pressure will bring partly cloudy skies to a good portion of Western Africa, while a frontal boundary to the north over Europe will bring some showers to Northern Africa. Another area of low pressure will be pushing through Central Africa, brining rain showers to the area. High pressure to the south of Africa will bring a nice day to South Africa. Partly cloudy skies will prevail for both the Cape Verde Islands and also into Madagascar. The majority of the country will see temps in the upper 80’s to lower 90’s while the extreme northern part of the country sees high temps in the lower 80’s.
Weather Forecast for Southeast Asia on March 25, 2013
Monday will be a quite day across the region, with a few showers possible in the afternoon from Thailand into Singapore. Sunny skies will prevail across India and other parts of the northern section of Southeast Asia. A warm day in store for the region with temps throughout in the upper 80’s to lower 90’s through the entire region.
Weather Forecast for Eastern Asia on March 25, 2013
Low pressure pushing east of Japan will bring partly cloudy skies back to Japan, while another low pressure over Northeast Russia will bring snow showers to the region. High pressure over Shanghai China will bring partly to mostly sunny skies to Eastern China and the Korea’s. Look for afternoon showers and isolated thunderstorms to develop over Manila. While sunny skies will prevail through Hong Kong. Look for 60-70’s through Hong Kong and then cooling to the 50’s through Shanghai and Eastern China, while 30’s and some 40’s will be in Japan and the Korea’s.
Weather Forecast for the Islands of (Guam and New Zealand) and Australia for March 25, 2013
Easterly trade winds will bring partly cloudy skies to Guam and a nice day. A weak area of low pressure is moving across Northern Australia and will bring a few showers to the region. High pressure building in from the west will bring a nice day to Western Australia and the majority of the South. A few showers will be possible over New Zealand. Temps will be in the 80’s to lower 90’s for most of the region except for Southeast Australia and New Zealand were temps will only be in the mid 70’s.
