Weather Forecast for North America on March 22, 2013
High pressure across the Great Lakes will bring partly cloudy skies and colder weather to the region and into the Northeast. A newly forming low pressure area will push out of the Southwest into the Plains bringing some late season snows to the south. A frontal system moving through Central Canada will bring snow to the region; this will spread into the Northern Rockies near Montana and Wyoming. Low pressure to the south of Alaska will bring some strong winds and snowfall to the region. A weak area of high pressure will build in over Mexico and bring nice weather to the region. Strong area of low pressure to the south of Greenland will bring some snow to the region. A strong push of cold Canadian air will extend down towards Florida bringing a very cold night to the region and accumulating snow as far south has Northern Mississippi and Alabama. The warmer 60-70’s will be confined to the Gulf Coast.
Weather Forecast for South America on March 22, 2013
Strong area of low pressure moving through the tip of South America will bring a few showers to the region. High pressure over the central part of the country will bring nice weather to the region. A few showers will be found along the ITCZ region in the north. Temps will rise into the upper 80’s and a few 90’s for Northeast Brazil. 60-70’s will be found along the remainder of the East Coast, while the Andes will see temps in the 30-40’s.
Weather Forecast for Europe and the Middle East on March 22, 2013
High pressure over the Middle East will keep the region dry and warm for tomorrow. Low pressure moving through the central part of Europe will bring snow showers to the region. A strong area of low pressure will be moving towards England which will bring showers and snow showers to Sweden and Finland. England will see temps around the 30-40’s while the warmer weather will be found over Italy back westward into France and Spain. The Middle East will see high temps in the 80-90’s.
Weather Forecast for Africa and the Cape Verde and Madagascar Islands on March 22, 2013
High pressure to the west of Cape Verde will bring partly cloudy skies to the region and cool northerly winds. Low pressure near Madagascar will bring rain showers to the region and the associated frontal boundary will extend northwest into portions of Africa. High pressure over the northern part of the region will bring partly cloudy skies to the north. Majority of the country will see high temps in the upper 80’s to lower 90’s, while the extreme northern part of the country will see 70-80’s.
Weather Forecast for Southeast Asia on March 22, 2013
A weak frontal boundary will setup over the region brining rain showers to India and Thailand and also southward into Singapore. The easterly flow will be strong through the southern portion of the region increasing the rainfall chances for the region of Burma and Indonesia. Southeast Asia will see plenty of heat as most of the countries will see temps in the upper 80’s to lower 90’s.
Weather Forecast for Eastern Asia on March 22, 2013
A strong area of low pressure will be moving through the Kuril Islands, this will bring snow to the area and also this will bring snow to northeast Russia. High pressure to the north of the Korea’s will bring northerly flow and partly cloudy skies and cooler temps to the area. Low pressure moving through central Russia will bring snow showers to the area. A newly forming low near Shanghai will bring some showers to the region and this will extend southward towards Hong Kong. Easterly trade winds will increase the moisture coverage near Manila. Temps will be in the 80’s over Manila, while the 60’s will be found in Hong Kong and then colder 30-40’s will be found through Eastern China into Japan and the Korea’s.
Weather Forecast for the Islands of (Guam and New Zealand) and Australia for March 22, 2013
Easterly trade winds blowing through Guam will bring afternoon showers to the region. A strong cold front moving through the southern part of Australia will bring showers to the region. Two separate areas of low pressure over Northern Australia will bring rain showers to the majority of the north. High pressure will slowly build in towards Western Australia. The north and northwest parts of Australia will see temps in the upper 80’s while the southeast part of Australia will see temps only in the 60-70’s.
