Weather Forecast for North America on March 19, 2013
A storm system moving through the Great Lakes will bring showers and snow to the region. There is also the chance of seeing some thunderstorms along the southeastern United States. A few snow showers will be possible across the northeast part of Greenland. An area of low pressure will approach the western part of Canada bringing showers to the coastal region and snow to the higher elevations.Â High pressure over Mexico will bring nice weather to the region. Â Temperatures across North America will range from the single digits above zero in Greenland to around the 30â€™s in the Northern United States and upwards to the 70â€™s in the Southern United States.
Weather Forecast for South America on March 19, 2013
High pressure over the eastern part of South America will bring partly cloudy skies to the region. Expect to see warm temps in the Peru area, while colder air will be in place over the southern part of South America. Showers will dominate the northern part of South America along the inter-tropical convergence zone. Temperatures will be in the upper 80â€™s over Brazil and in the 40â€™s over the higher terrains in western South America.
Weather Forecast for Europe and the Middle East on March 19, 2013
Low pressure moving through the Scandinavian region will bring showers and snow showers to the region, while partly cloudy skies will prevail over western Europe.Â High pressure over the Middle East will keep the region dry and warm for the day. High temps will be in the teens to lower 20â€™s for the northern part of Europe while temps will be in the upper 30â€™s to lower 40â€™s for England. Temps will be in the 60â€™s throughout Italy and the Med.
Weather Forecast for Africa and the Cape Verde and Madagascar Islands on March 19, 2013
Sunny skies will prevail through the majority of northern Africa, and also into the Cape Verde islands, while a low pressure system will be over Central Africa bringing a few showers to the region. The southern tip of South Africa will see a nice day with partly cloudy skies. Madagascar will see mostly cloudy skies with a few showers in the region. The majority of the country will see high temps in the mid to upper 80â€™s, while a few places in the north that see rain will be in the upper 70â€™s.
Weather Forecast for Southeast Asia on March 19, 2013
High pressure over the south China, and extending into India, will bring a dry and warm day to the region. Look for tropical rains to extend from Singapore into portions of Thailand. The majority of the region will enjoy temps in the upper 70â€™s to lower 80â€™s across the region.
Weather Forecast for Eastern Asia on March 19, 2013
Low pressure moving north of Japan will bring some rain and snow showers to northern Japan and also back into portions of western Russia. High pressure over eastern China will bring partly cloudy skies to the region and this will extend into the Koreaâ€™s and southern Japan.Â The weather will be nice from Hong Kong eastward to Manila. Temps will be in the single digits below zero for most of Siberia, while temps from northeast China into the Koreas and northern Japan will be in the 30â€™s. Temps through southern China and will be in the 60â€™s. High temps in the Manila area will be in the upper 70â€™s to lower 80â€™s.
Weather Forecast for the Islands of (Guam and New Zealand) and Australia for March 19, 2013
High pressure over southeastern Australia will bring nice weather to east Australia, while another area of high pressure to the west of Australia will also bring nice weather to western Australia. A few showers will be possible along northern Australia. Also, watch for afternoon showers to move through Guam. The extreme southeast part of Australia will see high temps in the upper 60â€™s to lower 70â€™s while the remainder of the country sees temps in the upper 70â€™s to mid 80â€™s. New Zealand will be the cold spot with high temps at higher elevations in the upper 30â€™s.
