Weather Forecast for North America on June 16, 2013

A storm system moving through the central part of the United States will bring showers and thunderstorms to the region from Minneapolis to Dallas, while partly cloudy skies and warmer weather will be found from the east coast of the US to eastern Canada. Partly cloudy skies are expected from Greenland to Iceland, as well. The west coast looks nice with partly cloudy skies, which will extend into Alaska and Hawaii. The temps over Greenland and Iceland will range from the 20’s to 40’s, warming rapidly along the Canadian east coast to the 50’s and 60’s. The heat will also be pushing into the east coast of the US, with temps set to be in the 80’s and a few 90’s. Hot weather will continue over the southeast and Gulf Coast, with temps soaring into the 90’s again. Hot weather will also be over the southwest with temps in the upper 90’s to around 110F.

Weather Forecast for South America on June 16, 2013

The northern part of South America, around Chile and Brazil, will see mostly cloudy skies, while central Chile will see a few rain showers. Northern Argentina will enjoy partly cloudy skies, but a storm system moving through southern Argentina will bring snow showers to the region. The majority of northern South America will see temps in the upper 80’s, while the coastline of southern Chile will only hit the 40’s. Colder weather is in store for southern Argentina, as well with high temps in the 20’s along with snowfall.

Weather Forecast for Europe and the Middle East on June 16, 2013

Partly cloudy skies associated with high pressure will impact the weather from England to northern Europe, while sunny skies dominate Spain.  A storm system moving through central Europe will bring showers to Italy. A hot and sunny day is in store for the Middle East. The majority of Europe will see temps in the mid 70’s, while temps warm to the 80’s over Italy and warm even more for most of the Middle East, hitting the 105F range.

Weather Forecast for Africa and the Cape Verde and Madagascar Islands on June 16, 2013

Northern Africa should see partly cloudy skies with a few light showers possible, while partly cloudy skies will dominate the weather for central Africa and also into the Cape Verde Islands. A few showers will be present over Somalia, while partly cloudy skies extend from Madagascar into South Africa. Northern Africa will be in the upper 80’s to lower 90’s while South Africa only gets into the 30’s and 40’s.

Weather Forecast for Southeast Asia on June 16, 2013

The monsoonal rains will continue to impact the weather from India into Sri Lanka and over towards Singapore, with the entire area seeing moderate amounts of rainfall through the day. Afternoon thunderstorms will be possible over Jakarta. Hot weather in store for India into Sri Lanka with temps in the upper 90’s and a few 100’s will be possible, as well. Temps will be in the upper 80’s to mid 90’s for Singapore and into Jakarta, along with Thailand.

Weather Forecast for Eastern Asia and the island of (Guam) on June 16, 2013

Northeast Russia will see partly cloudy skies, while a storm system moving through central China will bring showers to Shanghai, Seoul and eastward into Tokyo. Thunderstorms will also be possible over Hong Kong and into Manila; nice weather is in store for Guam with partly cloudy skies. Northeast Russia and northern Japan will see temps in the 60’s and a few 70’s, while temps warm to the 80’s over eastern China and into Seoul and Tokyo. Hong Kong will see temps in the upper 80’s, while Manila warms into the 90’s. , Guam will stay in the upper 80’s.

Weather Forecast for the Island of (New Zealand) and Australia for June 16, 2013

Australia will enjoy partly cloudy skies from west to east, while New Zealand will also see partly cloudy skies. Northwest Australia will enjoy the 60’s, while Perth cools into the 50’s and Sydney only gets into the upper 40’s.
