Weather Forecast for North America on July 8, 2013
Showers and thunderstorms will extend from the Gulf Coast all the way up the east coast of the US; there will be more showers over parts of Greenland, as well. Isolated Thunderstorms will be possible across a good portion of the northern Plains. The west will be warm again and partly cloudy skies will stretch across a good portion of the area. Temps will be in the 30’s and 40’s over Greenland, warming to the 50’s and 60’s for eastern Canada. It will further warm to the 70’s and 80’s for the eastern US along with the Gulf Coast. The warmer air will be found over the southwestern US along with the plains; these regions could see temps in the 90’s and 100’s, along with a few 110’s over the Southwest.
Weather Forecast for South America on July 8, 2013
Partly cloudy skies will extend across most of South America, while a frontal boundary moving through southern Argentina will bring showers to the region. Northeast Brazil will be in the upper 80’s, while the Peru and the rest of Brazil will be in the 80’s. Chile and a good portion of the western part of South America will be in the 40’s, while temps over southern Argentina will be in the 30’s.
Weather Forecast for Europe and the Middle East on July 8, 2013
Partly cloudy skies will dominate Western Europe, while a few showers will be possible over Sweden. Look for sunny skies from Spain to Italy. The Middle East will be sunny and hot again. Most of Europe will be hot with temps in the 80’s and 90’s. The cool spot will be the Scandinavian region, where temps will be in the 70’s. The heat will spread across Spain and into Italy, where a few places could be in the upper 90’s.
Weather Forecast for Africa and the Cape Verde and Madagascar Islands on July 8, 2013
Expect a few clouds near the Cape Verde Islands; otherwise look for sunny skies to dominate most of Africa, along with Madagascar. Africa will see temps in the 90’s, while a few 70’s and 80’s will be possible over South Africa. Madagascar will see temps in the 80’s and 90’s as well.
Weather Forecast for Southeast Asia on July 8, 2013
The monsoonal rains will continue over India, with heavy rainfall possible. There will also be scattered showers and thunderstorms possible from Sri Lanka to Singapore and over into Jakarta. Temps will be in the 90’s and 100’s for India and into Sri Lanka, cooling to the 90’s for Singapore and Jakarta.
Weather Forecast for Eastern Asia and the island of (Guam) on July 8, 2013
Northeast Russia will see partly cloudy skies, while eastern China through the Koreas and into Japan will have cloudy skies with showers and thunderstorms. Hong Kong and Manila will also see isolated afternoon thunderstorms, while Guam enjoys partly cloudy skies. Northeast Russia will be in the 70’s, while 80’s and 90’s expand from eastern China through the Korea’s and into Japan. Temps will also be in the 90’s for Hong Kong and Manila, cooling to the upper 80’s for Guam.
Weather Forecast for the Island of (New Zealand) and Australia for July 8, 2013
A frontal boundary moving across southwest Australia will bring showers to Perth, while a frontal boundary over New Zealand will also bring showers to the region. Partly cloudy skies will be found from Sydney northward into Brisbane and westward across northern Australia. Northern Australia will see temps in the 70’s, while southern Australia will be in the 40’s and 50’s. Possible 30’s may be found over parts of New Zealand, as well.
