Weather Forecast for North America on July 17, 2013

Low pressure over Texas will bring another day of showers to the region, along with flooding rains. The return flow over the Gulf Coast and southeast US will also provide the area with showers and thunderstorms. High pressure along the east coast will make for partly cloudy skies and hot weather. Greenland will see temps in the 40’s, while temps in the 80’s and 90’s dominate eastern Canada. The 90’s and 100’s will dominate the eastern US, along with the southeast and Gulf Coast. The western US will be warm, as well, with temps in the 80’s and 90’s.

Weather Forecast for South America on July 17, 2013

A few showers will be possible over southern Peru, while partly cloudy skies will stretch from Brazil southward into Argentina. The majority of South America will see temps in the 80’s and a few 90’s for Brazil. Temps will cool into the 60’s and 70’s for central South America and the 30’s over southern Chile and Argentina.

Weather Forecast for Europe and the Middle East on July 17, 2013

Partly cloudy skies are in store for England, giving way to showers over Scandinavia and into western Russia. Look for sunny skies from Spain to Italy; the sun will be out over the Middle East, as well, along with hot weather. England to Germany temps will be in the 80’s, while from Spain to Italy temps will be in the 80’s and 90’s; the Scandinavian region will see 70’s. The Middle East will have temps in the 90-110 range.

Weather Forecast for Africa and the Cape Verde and Madagascar Islands on July 17, 2013

Northern Africa will be partly cloudy. Showers will be possible across a good portion of central Africa, giving way to sunny skies over Southern Africa to include Cape Town. Madagascar will also enjoy sunny skies. Northern Africa will see temps in the 90’s and a few 100’s, while central Africa will be in the 80’s and 90’s including Madagascar. Southern Africa will see temps in the 60’s and 70’s.

Weather Forecast for Southeast Asia on July 17, 2013

The monsoonal rains will be in place again, providing the region with plenty of rainfall from India to Sri Lanka and eastward into Singapore. Look for afternoon showers and thunderstorms over Malaysia and Jakarta, along with Thailand. Hot weather will prevail through the entire region from 90’s and 100’s over India to the 90’s from Sri Lanka to Singapore and into Malaysia and Jakarta.

Weather Forecast for Eastern Asia and the island of (Guam) on July 17, 2013

Northeast Russia will have partly cloudy skies giving way to showers from eastern China into the Korea’s and over most of Japan. Hong Kong will see afternoon showers and thunderstorms, while Manila will have periods of heavy rainfall. Guam will see afternoon showers as well. Temps will be in the 60’s for northeast Russia, warming to the 80’s and 90’s from eastern China into the Korea’s and over parts of Japan. Hong Kong will be in the 80’s to lower 90’s, while Manila will be in the upper 80’s due to the heavy rainfall. Look for lower 80’s over Guam.

Weather Forecast for the Island of (New Zealand) and Australia for July 17, 2013

Showers will be possible over southwest Australia and into southeast Australia associated with a frontal boundary through the region. New Zealand will see partly cloudy skies. Temps will range from the 40’s and 50’s over southwest and southeast Australia to the 60’s and 70’s for central and northern Australia.
