Weather Forecast for North America on July 12, 2013

High pressure over the Great Lakes will bring nice weather to the region; this will extend into the northeast as well as eastern Canada. Showers and thunderstorms will be along the Mid-Atlantic to the Gulf Coast along a frontal boundary. The west will see a warm and day over the southwest to a mild day over the northwest. Temps will be in the 40’s over Greenland, warming to the 50’s and 60’s for northeast Canada. As you move into southeast Canada and the eastern US, temps will rise to the 70’s and 80’s. The southeast and Gulf Coast will see temps in the 80’s, and a few 90’s as well. The Southwest will have temps in the 90’s and 100’s, while temps over the West Coast will be mostly in the 70’s and 80’s.

Weather Forecast for South America on July 12, 2013

Sunny skies will prevail over the northern part of the region, while a few showers associated with a frontal boundary will be found over Argentina. The northern region, from Peru to northern Chile, will see temps in the 60’s, while eastern Brazil will be in the 70’s and 80’s. Temps will fall to the 40’s over southern Argentina and a few 30’s over the higher lands of Chile.

Weather Forecast for Europe and the Middle East on July 12, 2013

Partly cloudy skies will dominate most of Western Europe, from England to the Scandinavian region and southward towards northern Spain. Southern Spain will be sunny; however, a frontal boundary moving through the region will bring a few more clouds to Italy. The Middle East will be sunny and hot again. Western Europe from England to the Scandinavian region will see temps in the 70’s and 80’s, while Spain will be in the 80’s and 90’s. This will extend eastward toward Italy as well. Temps in the Middle East will be in the 110-120 range.

Weather Forecast for Africa and the Cape Verde and Madagascar Islands on July 12, 2013

There will be a few more clouds over northern Africa today, while central Africa will be looking at partly cloudy skies as well along with southern Africa. The Cape Verde Islands will be sunny, while increasing clouds will be over Madagascar. Temps will be in the 80’s for northern Africa, cooling to the 70’s and 80’s in the central part and the 60’s for South Africa to include Cape Town.

Weather Forecast for Southeast Asia on July 12, 2013

The monsoonal rains will shift to more of northern India, while southern India and Sri Lanka will see mostly cloudy skies with a few afternoon thunderstorms. The same can be said for places from Singapore to Jakarta, northward into Malaysia. Temps will be in the 90’s and a few 100’s over India, cooling to the 90’s from Sri Lanka to Singapore and northward into Thailand.

Weather Forecast for Eastern Asia and the island of (Guam) on July 12, 2013

Northeast Russia into eastern China will see partly cloudy skies. This will also be true for the Koreas, into Japan and southward towards Hong Kong; Manila will see afternoon thunderstorms. The easterly winds will bring a round of showers and thunderstorms to Guam during the afternoon, as well. Temps will be in the 70’s over northeast Russia warming to the 80’s for eastern China, the Korea’s and further east into Japan. Hong Kong and Manila will both be in the 90’s, while Guam hits the mid 80’s.

Weather Forecast for the Island of (New Zealand) and Australia for July 12, 2013

Australia will see partly cloudy skies from north to south, while over New Zealand a few showers will be possible during the afternoon. Temps will be in the 60’s over northern Australia, cooling to the 50’s for the central region and a few 40’s over southern Australia and into New Zealand, as well.
