Weather Forecast for North America on July 11, 2013

A frontal boundary moving along the eastern US will bring showers and thunderstorms to the east coast and also back into the Gulf Coast. An easterly wave moving across Florida will bring showers and thunderstorms to the region. High pressure over the Great Lakes and northern Plains will bring partly cloudy skies to the region. Partly cloudy skies will be seen along the western US, as well. Temps will be in the 70’s over a large portion of eastern Canada and the eastern US. Temps will warm to the 80’s and 90’s for the southeast US and Gulf Coast. The 90’s and 100’s will be found over parts of the southwest and southern Plains, with some places even getting warmer. The Northwest will enjoy pleasant weather as temps rise into the upper 70’s to lower 80’s.

Weather Forecast for South America on July 11, 2013

Partly cloudy skies over Peru and Brazil will give way to a few showers over northern Argentina; partly cloudy skies will also be found over Chile and southern Argentina. Eastern Brazil will see temps in the 70’s and 80’s, while Peru will be in the 70’s and a few 60’s. Northern Argentina will be in the 50’s, while southern Chile and southern Argentina will be in the 40’s and a few 50’s.

Weather Forecast for Europe and the Middle East on July 11, 2013

Partly cloudy skies for Western Europe to include England and the Scandinavian region. Expect to see sunny skies from Spain to Italy, with a few showers will be possible over parts of Germany. The Middle East will be hot and dry again as well. Temps will be in the 70’s and 80’s for England and into the Scandinavia region, while a few 70’s will be possible around Germany due to the rain. From Spain to Italy, look for temps to be in the 80’s and 90’s. The Middle East will see temps in the 90’s and 100’s.

Weather Forecast for Africa and the Cape Verde and Madagascar Islands on July 11, 2013

Expect partly cloudy skies over northern Africa, while a few showers will be found over east central Africa. Look for partly cloudy skies for west central Africa giving way to sunny skies for both South Africa and Madagascar. Northern and central Africa will see temps in the 80’s and 90’s, while southern Africa will see temps in the 60’s and 70’s.

Weather Forecast for Southeast Asia on July 11, 2013

Showers and thunderstorms along the monsoonal trough will again impact large portions of India with heavy rains; this will expand into Sri Lanka, as well. Afternoon thunderstorms will be possible from Singapore to Jakarta. Hot weather will persist over the region, with temps in the 90’s and 100’s for northern India, cooling to the 90’s for Sri Lanka and Singapore. Temps will also be in the 90’s eastward towards Thailand and Jakarta.

Weather Forecast for Eastern Asia and the island of (Guam) on July 11, 2013

Northeast Russia will see partly cloudy skies, while showers and thunderstorms will be possible over Eastern China, giving way to partly cloudy skies for the Korea’s as well as Japan. Typhoon Soulik will continue to move westward towards mainland China with winds over 125kts; this is a very powerful and dangerous storm. Showers and thunderstorms will also impact from Hong Kong to Manila. There will be a return of afternoon showers and thunderstorms in Guam, as well. A cooler day for parts of northeast Russia with temps in the 50’s and 60’s, while eastern China will see temps in the 70’s and 80’s along with the Korea’s and Japan. Hong Kong to Manila temps will be in the 90’s. Guam will see high temps in the upper 80’s.

Weather Forecast for the Island of (New Zealand) and Australia for July 11, 2013

Partly cloudy skies will dominate northern Australia to include Brisbane, while southern Australia will also enjoy partly cloudy skies from Perth to Sydney and into Auckland. Northern Australia will be in the 70’s, cooling to the 60’s for central Australia and the 50’s over Perth and into Sydney.
