Weather Forecast for North America on July 10, 2013

A frontal boundary moving across the Great Lakes will bring showers to the region; these will also extend into the northeast. Return flow around the sub-tropical high will bring afternoon showers and thunderstorms to the southeast and Gulf Coast. High pressure out west will begin to take a firmer grip over the region, bringing dry and hot weather to all the Plains and into the southwest, along with a good portion of the Rockies. Temps will be in the 60’s and 70’s over eastern Canada, warming to the 70’s and 80’s along the east coast of the US. Look for 80’s and 90’s along the southeast and Gulf Coast of the US. Temps will be in the 90’s and 100’s for most of the southern plains. There will be some isolated 110’s, as well. Hot weather will again hit the southwest with temps in the 100-110 range.

Weather Forecast for South America on July 10, 2013

Partly cloudy skies will dominate most of South America from the north to the south including Peru, Chile, Brazil and Argentina. The 80’s will be over eastern Brazil, giving way to the 60’s and 70’s for the rest of the region. Look for 40’s over most of the highlands of Chile and also southern Argentina.

Weather Forecast for Europe and the Middle East on July 10, 2013

Western Europe will see partly cloudy skies, with a few showers over the Scandinavian region. This will give way to sunny skies and hot weather from Spain to Germany and southward into Italy. The Middle East will also see plenty of sunshine and heat. Europe will be hot with temps in the 80’s for England and a few 90’s, as well. Look for 90’s over most of Europe. The cool spot will be northern Europe, where temps will be in the lower 80’s. From Spain to Italy a few upper 90’s will be possible, as well. The Middle East will see another day with temps in the 100-110 range.

Weather Forecast for Africa and the Cape Verde and Madagascar Islands on July 10, 2013

A warm day in store for the region with a few clouds over northern and central Africa; otherwise, expect to see sunny skies for the remainder of Africa, including South Africa. Partly cloudy skies will be found over the Cape Verde Islands, while sunny skies will hit Madagascar. Northern Africa will be in the 80’s and 90’s, while central Africa will be in the 80’s with a few 90’s. Southern Africa will be in the 60’s and 70’s, while Madagascar will be in the 80’s and 90’s.

Weather Forecast for Southeast Asia on July 10, 2013

The monsoonal trough will again be in place; this will allow for heavy rainfall over parts of India and Sri Lanka. Look for isolated afternoon thunderstorms from Singapore to Jakarta and northward into Thailand and Malaysia. Temps will range from the 100’s over northern India, to the upper 90’s from Sri Lanka to Singapore. The lower 90’s will be found over Jakarta and into Thailand.

Weather Forecast for Eastern Asia and the island of (Guam) on July 10, 2013

Partly cloudy skies will be in store for northeast Russia, giving way to showers and thunderstorms from eastern China through the Korea’s and into parts of Japan. Hong Kong will see afternoon thunderstorms, as well will Manila. Partly cloudy skies will impact Guam for the day. Northeast Russia will see temps in the 60’s, while eastern China and the Koreas, along with Japan, will see temps in the 80’s and 90’s. Temps across Hong Kong and Manila will be in the 90’s; look for the upper 80’s over Guam.

Weather Forecast for the Island of (New Zealand) and Australia for July 10, 2013

Partly cloudy skies will stretch from northern Australia into central Australia and over towards Sydney, while showers will be possible for Perth and also into Auckland. Temps will be in the 70’s across northern Australia, cooling to the 60’s for central and the 40’s and 50’s across both Perth and Sydney. New Zealand will see some temps in the 40’s as well.
