Weather Forecast for North America on January 8, 2014
The massive Arctic outbreak will remain in control of the weather over eastern Canada and the Eastern Us, with partly cloudy skies and very cold temps. Partly cloudy skies will also be found from the Plains into the Southeast and Gulf Coast; warmer weather with partly cloudy skies are in store for the Rockies and the Southwest. Temps will be in the -20 to -10F range over eastern Canada and Greenland, warming to the 0-10F for the Northeast US, while the Mid-Atlantic and the Southeast will see temps in the 30â€™s and 40â€™s, warming to the 50â€™s over the Gulf Coast. The Western US into Alaska will see temps in the 40â€™s and 50â€™s as well.
Weather Forecast for South America on January 8, 2014
Expect partly cloudy skies for Peru to Western Brazil, while showers develop over eastern Brazil. Look for partly cloudy skies from Argentina into Chile. Temps will range from the 60â€™s over Peru to the 70â€™s and 80â€™s for Brazil, while Argentina will be in the 70â€™s north the 50â€™s south along with southern Chile.
Weather Forecast for Europe and the Middle East on January 8, 2014
The powerful storm system will bring yet another day of heavy rain, strong winds and high seas to western Europe, along with snow showers over Scandinavia. Partly cloudy skies will prevail from central Europe into eastern Europe. Temps will be in the 20â€™s over northern Europe, warming to the 40â€™s for England and the 50â€™s and 60â€™s through Spain to France.Â The Middle East will be sunny with temps in the 70â€™s and 80â€™s.
Weather Forecast for Africa and the Cape Verde and Madagascar Islands on January 8, 2014
Partly cloudy skies are in store for northern Africa along with central Africa, while a few showers will be found over southeast Africa spreading into Madagascar; however, South Africa will see partly cloudy skies. Temps will range from the 60â€™s over northern Africa to the 70â€™s and 80â€™s along with a few 90â€™s over interior parts of central and southern Africa.
Weather Forecast for Southeast Asia on January 8, 2014
Partly cloudy skies are in store from northern India into Sri Lanka, while a few showers develop in the afternoon over Malaysia and Singapore. The region will see temps in the 70â€™s and 80â€™s from west to east.
Weather Forecast for Eastern Asia and the island of Guam on January 8, 2014
High pressure will dominate the weather from central Russia all the way through China and extending into the Koreaâ€™s, along with southern Japan. Partly cloudy skies will dominate the weather from Manila to Guam, while snow showers will impact northern Japan along with northeast Russia into the Kuril Islands. Temps will be in the -20 to -10F range for northern Russia, while temps warm to the 0 to -10F range for northern China into the Koreaâ€™s. Temps will be in the 30â€™s from Shanghai to Tokyo, warming to the 60â€™s for Hong Kong. Manila to Guam temps will be in the 70â€™s and 80â€™s.
Weather Forecast for the Island of New Zealand and Australia for January 8, 2014:
Partly cloudy skies and hot weather are in store for northwest Australia, while northeast Australia will be dealing with showers and cooler weather. The cooler weather will also be found over Sydney along with partly cloudy skies, which will extend westward into Perth. Temps will be in the 80â€™s and 90â€™s along with a few 100â€™s over western Australia, while southwest Australia to include Perth will be in the 70â€™s. Sydney will see temps in the 70â€™s, as well.
