Weather Forecast for North America on January 7, 2014:

The Arctic high pressure will continue to dominate the weather with very cold weather and partly cloudy skies from the Plains to the Gulf Coast to the Southeast and the entire East Coast. Dangerous wind chills again along with frigid temps and strong winds will make conditions very dangerous. Partly cloudy skies and warmer weather are in store for the West. Temps will range from the -10 to -20F range over eastern Canada, warming to the -10 to 0F range over the Northeast and Ohio River valley, warming to the 10-20F range for the Tennessee River valley and the 20’s and 30’s for the Gulf Coast and northern Florida along with Texas. Temps over the Northern Plains will modify to the 20s and 30’s while the Western US will see 40’s and 50’s.

Weather Forecast for South America on January 7, 2014:

Partly cloudy skies are in store from Peru to Western Brazil, while showers will be possible over eastern Brazil into northern Argentina. Partly cloudy skies will extend from southern Argentina through Chile, as well. Temps will be in the 70’s for Peru to the 80’s over Brazil and the 70’s over northern Argentina, cooling to the 50’s for southern Argentina and Chile.

Weather Forecast for Europe and the Middle East on January 7, 2014:

A very powerful storm system moving through western Europe will bring with it another mild, but stormy day, especially across England and Scandinavia, where winds could gust near 50mph along with very high seas and rough surf along with showers. Partly cloudy skies will dominate the weather from Germany to Italy and through Spain. The Middle East will see sunny skies from north to south. Temps will range from the 30’s and  40’s over Scandinavia to the 40’s and 50’s for England to Spain and through  Italy, warming to the 60’s and 70’s for the northern and central parts of the Middle East, further warming to the 80’s over the Arabian Peninsula.

Weather Forecast for Africa and the Cape Verde and Madagascar Islands on January 7, 2014:

Partly cloudy skies are in store for northern Africa through most of central Africa, while showers will be found over southern Africa and Madagascar. Temps will be in the 60’s over the north warming to the 70’s and 80’s for central and southern Africa.

Weather Forecast for Southeast Asia on January 7, 2014:

Partly cloudy skies are in store from India into Sri Lanka, while showers will be possible over Singapore and Malaysia. Temps for this region will be in the 70’s and 80’s.

Weather Forecast for Eastern Asia and the island of (Guam) on January 7, 2014:

A storm system moving towards Japan will bring showers from Shanghai to Tokyo and through the Korean Peninsula along with gusty winds. Look for snow showers to extend from northern Japan into northeast Russia and the Kuril Islands, while partly cloudy skies will be over Hong Kong and also into Manila, extending eastward into Guam. Temps will range from the -10 to -20F range over northeast Russia warming to the 10-20F range for northern Japan and the 40’s from Shanghai to Tokyo. Temps will be in the 60’s for Hong Kong warming to the 70’s and 80’s for both Manila and Guam.

Weather Forecast for the Island of (New Zealand) and Australia for January 7, 2014:

Partly cloudy skies are in store for most of Australia, while a storm system moving south of New Zealand will bring showers to Auckland. Temps will range from the 90’s over northwest Australia to the 70’s around Perth and Sydney.
