Weather Forecast for North America on December 14, 2013
Low pressure to the south of Greenland will bring snow to the region; this will expand into Iceland as well. A storm system moving into the Central US, will bring with it heavy rains along the Gulf Coast and heavy snow over the Great Lakes and the Northeast; this will expand into eastern Canada as well. There will also be a dangerous line of freezing rain that could be heavy that sets up from the Mid-Atlantic into the Mid-Mississippi River Valley. High pressure will keep the west dry, while a new storm approaches Alaska with snow. Temps will range from -10F over Greenland to around 20 in New York, further warming to the 30â€™s in Baltimore, while the Gulf Coast will see 70â€™sÂ ahead of the front. Behind the front, look for temps to drop into the 30â€™s rapidly.
Weather Forecast for South America on December 14, 2013
Partly cloudy skies are in store from Peru to Brazil; this will also extend into Argentina and Chile, as well. Temps will be in the 70â€™s for Peru warming to the 80â€™s over Brazil and into northern Argentina, cooling to the 60â€™s for southern Argentina along with 40â€™s over Southern Chile.
Weather Forecast for Europe and the Middle East on December 14, 2013
A large storm system will continue to impact the region with snow over Scandinavia, giving way to showers for England to Spain. The higher elevations, such as the Alps, will be looking at snow. The snow lines could drop into the Middle East again, especially over the northern Middle East. The Central and southern Middle East will see partly cloudy to mostly sunny skies. Temps will be a huge factor in this region with the 20â€™s over Scandinavia, warming to the 40â€™s for England and Spain along with Italy, while some 30â€™s will be over the northern Middle East, warming to the 60â€™s over the central region and further warming to the 80â€™s over the southern Arabian Peninsula.
Weather Forecast for Africa and the Cape Verde and Madagascar Islands on December 14, 2013
Expect partly cloudy skies along with a few isolated snow and rain showers over the northern section especially around Egypt, while central Africa will see partly cloudy skies. Southern Africa and into Madagascar will see showers. Temps will be in the 40â€™s and 50â€™s for northern Africa warming to the 70â€™s and 80â€™s for central Africa along with a few upper 80â€™s over southern Africa.
Weather Forecast for Southeast Asia on December 14, 2013
Partly cloudy skies are in store for India and Sri Lanka, giving way to showers over Singapore and Malaysia. There will also be showers over Thailand. Temps will range from the 70â€™s to the 80â€™s over the entire region.
Weather Forecast for Eastern Asia and the island of (Guam) on December 14, 2013
High pressure will bring yet another day of partly cloudy skies from northern China into the Koreaâ€™s and Japan along with Hong Kong. There will be afternoon showers for both Guam and Manila. Temps will be in the -10F range over northeast Russia along with some light snow, warming to the 30â€™s and 40â€™s for Japan and the Koreaâ€™s. Temps will warm into the 60â€™s for Hong Kong, while Manila and Guam will be in the upper 70â€™s to lower 80â€™s.
Weather Forecast for the Island of (New Zealand) and Australia for December 14, 2013
Australia will be dry and hot, temps will range from the 90â€™s over the northwest zones, to the upper 80â€™s all the way into Perth, temps will fall over south-central and southeast Australia to the 60â€™s and 70â€™s.
