Weather Forecast for North America on August 25, 2013
A tropical wave moving through the Gulf of Mexico will bring another day of showers and thunderstorms from Texas to Florida along the coast. Showers and thunderstorms will also be on the move over a good portion of the Plains and Western Great Lakes. Partly cloudy skies and warm weather will be along the West Coast, while a few showers hit Southern Alaska. Tropical moisture will bring heavy rainfall to portions of Western Mexico near the tropical storm; this will extend into the Baja as well. Greenland will see temps in the 30â€™s and 40â€™s only warming to the 50â€™s for most of Eastern Canada and the 60â€™s and 70â€™s for the Northeast US, while temps will rise into the 70â€™s and 80â€™s from Baltimore to Atlanta, the 80â€™ and 90â€™s will be along the Gulf Coast and the heat will really get going over the Northern Plains with temps in the upper 90â€™s.
Weather Forecast for South America on August 25, 2013
Look for partly cloudy skies in store from Peru to Western Brazil, while showers and thunderstorms will be along the coast of Brazil. Northern Chile into Northern Argentina will also see partly cloudy skies, while a few showers and snow showers move across Southern Chile and Argentina. Eastern Brazil will be in the 80â€™s, while Western Brazil and into Peru will hit the 60â€™s and 70â€™s. Northern Chile and Northern Argentina will be in the 50â€™s, while Southern Chile and Southern Argentina hit the 30â€™s and a few 20â€™s.
Weather Forecast for Europe and the Middle East on August 25, 2013
Partly cloudy skies will expand from London to Western Europe, also extending into Italy and Spain, while showers will be found over Western Russia to include Moscow and also into portions of Germany. The heat and sun will be in full force over the Middle East again. Temps will be in the 70â€™s for Western Europe to include England, warming to the 80â€™s and 90â€™s over Spain to Italy. The Middle East will have temps in the 100-115 range.
Weather Forecast for Africa and the Cape Verde and Madagascar Islands on August 25, 2013
Northern Africa will enjoy partly cloudy skies, while the Central part of Africa will be dealing with afternoon showers along the Inter-tropical convergence zone. Southern Africa and into Madagascar and also the Cape Verde Islands will be dominated by partly cloudy skies. The majority of Africa will be in the 80â€™s and 90â€™s, while South Africa will be in the 60â€™s.
Weather Forecast for Southeast Asia on August 25, 2013
The monsoonal rains will again be in full force over most of India, expanding southward into Sri Lanka and then eastward towards Singapore, from Singapore to Thailand there will be more afternoon showers and thunderstorms associated with the day time heating. Temps will be in the 80â€™s and 90â€™s from New Delhi to Singapore and into Thailand as well.
Weather Forecast for Eastern Asia and the island of (Guam) on August 25, 2013
High pressure over Eastern Russia will bring partly cloudy skies to Northeast Russia and Northern Japan and also extending through the Koreaâ€™ s towards Shanghai. A frontal boundary over Japan will provide another day of showers and thunderstorms for Tokyo. Hong Kong and Manila along with Guam will see afternoon thunderstorms and showers. Northern Russia and Northern Japan will see temps in the 60â€™s, while temps in the 80â€™s and 90â€™s will dominate the weather from Shanghai to Seoul and eastward into Tokyo. Hong Kong will be in the 80â€™s along with Guam and Manila will be in the lower 90â€™s.
Weather Forecast for the Island of (New Zealand) and Australia for August 25, 2013
The day will include a few showers possible over Northern Australia around Brisbane, otherwise look for partly cloudy skies from Sydney to Perth. Northwest Australia will be in the 60â€™s and 70â€™s, while Southwest Australia will be in the 60â€™s, cooling to the 50â€™s for Southeast Australia. New Zealand could even see a few 40â€™s.
