International Weather Outlook: April 4, 2013
Weather Forecast for North America on April 4, 2013
Low pressure will move across Florida and portions of the southeast today, bringing moderate to heavy rain along with isolated thunderstorms to the region. High pressure over the Great Lakes will bring partly cloudy skies. A new storm system will push on shore over the Pacific Northwest which will bring showers to the area. Low pressure moving over the Hudson Bay will bring snow showers to the region. High pressure over Greenland will bring colder and drier weather to the area. An area of low pressure moving towards the Gulf of Alaska will bring showers and snow showers to southern Alaska. Â Temps will range from the -10 to 0F range for Greenland and then warming to the teens to 20â€™s for portions of northern Canada. Look for 30-40â€™s from the Great Lakes into the northeast. The 50â€™s and 60â€™s will dominate a good portion of the western United States and along the Gulf Coast.
Weather Forecast for South America on April 4, 2013
A frontal boundary traveling along the southern tip will bring showers to parts of South America, especially to Argentina. High pressure will keep the rest of the region dry and mild from Chile to Peru and eastward into Brazil. Northeast Brazil will see temps in the upper 80â€™s to lower 90â€™s, while the Andes will see temps in the 40-50â€™s. Eastern South America will see temps in the 60-70â€™s with a few 80â€™s possible further inland.
Weather Forecast for Europe and the Middle East on April 4, 2013
Low pressure moving towards Spain will bring cloudy skies and showers to Spain and parts of France, while High pressure over the Eastern part will keep places like Italy and Germany dry for the day. A few snow showers will develop over western Russia. Partly cloudy skies will prevail over England. Â The 20-20â€™s will dominate the northern part of Europe, while the 40â€™s will be throughout England and the 50-60â€™s will be found from Spain eastward into Italy. The northern part of the Middle East will see temps in the 70â€™s;Â the southern portion will have temps in the 80-90â€™s.
Weather Forecast for Africa and the Cape Verde and Madagascar Islands on April 4, 2013
High pressure over northern Africa will keep the region dry and cooler, while the central part of Africa will remain warm and dry. A few showers will be possible through southern Africa around South Africa.Â High pressure will bring tranquil weather to the Cape Verde Islands and also a nice day over Madagascar.
The northwest portion of Africa will see high temps in the upper 70â€™s and also the southeastern part of Africa will see 70â€™s as well. The rest of the region will be in the 80-90â€™s. Madagascar will also enjoy temps in the upper 80â€™s with a few 90â€™s. The Cape Verde Islands will see temps in the 70â€™s.
Weather Forecast for Southeast Asia on April 4, 2013
Look for nice weather form India southeastward towards Thailand and parts of Cambodia. Showers will develop in the afternoon over Singapore and other parts of Southeast Asia. There will be 50-60â€™s in the northern part of India and Pakistan, while the remainder of India will be in the upper 80â€™s to lower 90â€™s. These temps will expand southeastward towards Singapore and also into Thailand and Indonesia.
Weather Forecast for Eastern Asia and the island of Guam on April 4, 2013
Low pressure to the north of Japan will bring some snow to portions of northeast Russia, looking at a stationary boundary extending through parts of Taiwan which will bring showers to the area, this will extend back into portions of Eastern China. A few afternoon showers will also be possible through Hong Kong , while partly cloudy skies will prevail over Manila and Guam. Temps will be well below zero for the northern part of Russia; this will extend down towards Central Russia as well. Temps will warm to the 40-50â€™s through the Koreaâ€™s, parts of Japan and into eastern China. Hong Kong will see temps in the mid 70â€™s. Guam will also enjoy temps in the lower 80â€™s.
Weather Forecast for the Island of (New Zealand) and Australia for April 4, 2013
High pressure over southeast Australia will bring nice weather to the entire country today, with cooler weather also expected over southeast Australia for places from Sydney eastward into New Zealand.
Temps will be in the upper 80â€™s across western Australia, then cooling to the mid 60â€™s to lower 70â€™s over central Australia. It will further cool to the 50â€™s and 60â€™s over southeast Australia for places like Sydney.
