Weather Forecast for North America on April 24, 2013
A low pressure sliding up the east coast of the United States will bring few light rain showers. As a storm system passes to the east of Iceland, there will still be a few rain and snow showers for both Greenland and Iceland. Low pressure moving into the Great Lakes will bring a few showers and snow to the region, while a cold front extending into the Gulf Coast will be the sight of a few showers and isolated thunderstorms. High pressure on the west coast will make for a nice day from Vancouver, B.C. to San Diego, CA. The frigid air will be in place over Greenland as temps remain well below freezing, while temps warm up and get closer to freezing for Iceland, in the lower 40’s. Cold air will again engulf a large region of the central Plains from North Dakota into Kansas as temps will be in the 30-40’s. The southeast and Gulf Coast will enjoy temps in the 60-70’s range with a few 80’s over Florida. Colder weather will also be found over the northwest and into Alaska as temps in this region hover around the 30-40 range.
Weather Forecast for South America on April 24, 2013
A strong gradient will create moderate winds along the tip of South America. High pressure near Chile will bring partly cloudy skies to most of western South America. A few afternoon showers will be possible over northeast Brazil. The temps across northeast Brazil will be in the mid 80’s, while the 60’s and 70’s dominate a good portion of eastern South America, with the western part in the Andes only getting into the 40’s. The southern tip of South America will also see temps in the 40’s for parts of Argentina.
Weather Forecast for Europe and the Middle East on April 24, 2013
An area of low pressure moving through northwest Europe will bring showers and a few snow showers to Denmark and Sweden. High pressure over central Europe will make for a nice day form Madrid to Italy. A few showers will be possible over Germany. No major changes forecasted for the Middle East another warm and dry day for the area. Northeast Europe will see temps in the 40’s while London and Madrid will be looking at 60’s. The 70’s will be found through parts of Italy and Southern Spain. The northwest Saudi Arabia area will see temps in the 80’s while the rest of the region deals with temps in the 90’s and even a few 100’s.
Weather Forecast for Africa and the Cape Verde and Madagascar Islands on April 24, 2013
Low pressure area over northwest Africa will bring a few showers across the northern part. High pressure to the south will keep places from central Africa to South Africa dry. Sunny skies will also prevail over Madagascar, while partly cloudy skies will be seen over the Cape Verde Islands. The northwest and southern part of Africa will see high temps in the 80’s, while the rest of the country will be dealing with upper 80’s and lower 90’s. This will hold true for Madagascar as well; however, the Cape Verde Islands will be in the 70’s.
Weather Forecast for Southeast Asia on April 24, 2013
A dry and warm day expected for most of Southeast Asia from India to Singapore and even southward towards Indonesia. Sunny skies will be found also from Thailand over to Malaysia. Hot air will be in store for India with places again looking at near 100 degree heat along with upper 90’s throughout the rest of the area. Singapore and Malaysia will see high temps in the 80’s.
Weather Forecast for Eastern Asia and the island of (Guam) on April 24, 2013
Low pressure moving through northeast Russia will bring snow showers to the Kuril Islands, while another area of low pressure moving out of eastern China will bring showers to the Korea’s and eastward into Japan. High pressure over southeast China will bring nice weather to places from Hong Kong eastward into Manila and even east into Guam. Northeast Russia will have high temps in the 40’s, while Shanghai and Tokyo deal with the 50’s and 60’s. Temps will warm into the upper 70’s for Hong Kong and the mid 80’s for Manila and also Guam.
Weather Forecast for the Island of (New Zealand) and Australia for April 24, 2013
A cold front extending from the south of Australia will push into parts of Australia bringing showers and colder weather to places like Sydney and over into New Zealand, as well. The north and northwest part of Australia will enjoy another dry and warm day. Northwest Australia will see temps in the upper 80’s while Sydney will be looking at the 40’s and 50’s. The same will hold true for New Zealand.
