Weather Forecast for North America on April 22, 2013

High pressure over the northeast will bring partly cloudy skies to a good portion of the east coast of the United States. Low pressure moving southeast of Iceland will bring showers and snow to the region; this will extend westward into Greenland as well. High pressure will bring a nice day to the west coast of the United States and Canada. A storm system developing over the Rockies will bring rain and snow to the region; this will extend out into the northern Plains as snow and the southern Plains as rain and thunderstorms. High temps will be in the teens around most of Greenland and Iceland, warming to the mid 30’s over central Canada, and further warming into the mid 50’s for the eastern United States. The 70’s will be found over the southeast United States and also along the Gulf Coast. Look for 60’s and 70’s along a good portion of the west coast.

Weather Forecast for South America on April 22, 2013

High pressure along the east coast of South America will bring partly cloudy skies to a good portion of the region; however, a few showers will develop over Brazil. The gradient over the tip of South America will bring strong winds to the area. A few 80’s will be over extreme northeast Brazil, while 60-70’s will dominate a good portion of central South America. The 50-60’s will dominate Chile and also the higher elevations along the west coast.

Weather Forecast for Europe and the Middle East on April 22, 2013

Low pressure moving north of England will bring showers to the area; this will also expand eastward into parts of Denmark and Sweden, where showers will also be possible. High pressure over central Europe will bring nice weather from Spain to Italy. High pressure over the Middle East will bring this region another day of hot weather and dry conditions. Most of Europe will enjoy 60’s and 70’s with the cool spots being the Alps where temps will be in the 40’s near the peak. The northwest part of Saudi Arabia will see high temps in the 80’s while the remainder of the Middle East will see temps in the 90’s and a few 100’s.

Weather Forecast for Africa and the Cape Verde and Madagascar Islands on April 22, 2013

The majority of Africa will see dry conditions and warm weather; the exception will be over parts of Somalia, where showers will be possible. The Cape Verde Islands will enjoy a nice day as well. High pressure will bring sunny skies to South Africa and also into Madagascar. The extreme northern part of Africa and also the southern part of Africa will be the cool spot with temps in the 80’s, while the rest of Africa will see upper 80’s to lower 90’s.

Weather Forecast for Southeast Asia on April 22, 2013

High pressure over India, will bring party cloudy skies to the region, showers and thunderstorms will be possible from Singapore southeastward into Thailand and also parts of Indonesia. The majority of Southeast Asia to Singapore and over into Jakarta will see temps in the 80’s and lower 90’s.

Weather Forecast for Eastern Asia and the island of (Guam) on April 22, 2013

High pressure centered over Japan will bring nice weather to the region; expect to see this extend westward back into the Korea’s and also over eastern China. A few showers will be possible over Hong Kong, while partly cloudy skies will dominate Manila and over Guam. A very cold air mass will be in place over northeast Russia with high temps around the 30’s, while temps over Japan and the Korea’s will be in the 50’s with a few 60’s. Hong Kong will enjoy temps in the 70’s, while Manila will see temps near the 80’s and over into Guam.

Weather Forecast for the Island of (New Zealand) and Australia for April 22, 2013

High pressure over New Zealand will bring nice weather to the region; this will also extend westward back into the majority of Australia. A few showers may be possible over extreme northeast Australia. Northwest Australia will see temps in the upper 80’s, while southern Australia, except for Sydney, will see high temps in the 70’s. Sydney will only get into the 60’s along with New Zealand.
