International Weather Outlook: April 2, 2013
Weather Forecast for North America on April 2, 2013
Low pressure moving across northeast Canada will bring a few snow showers across the region. High pressure over Greenland and Iceland will bring partly cloudy skies to the region. High pressure over the center of the United States will bring another round of partly cloudy skies and below normal temps to the region. A new low will push across the Southern Plains and into the Gulf of Mexico; this storm will bring showers and some thunderstorms across the area. Temperatures will range from -10F around Greenland up to the 20-30’s through a good portion of the northern United States. It will be warming into the 60’s and 70’s along the southern part of the country from Texas into Florida. Mexico will see upper 70’s to lower 80’s for highs.
Weather Forecast for South America on April 2, 2013
The majority of the country will enjoy high pressure and partly cloudy skies with only a few showers across the central part of Argentina. Strong winds will be present over the tip of South America. Temperatures will range from the upper 80’s over northeast Brazil to the mid 70’s through the central part of the country. Look for 40’s and 50’s to dominate the southern portion of the country.
Weather Forecast for Europe and the Middle East on April 2, 2013
Low pressure moving towards England will bring showers to the area; these showers will spread into portions of western Europe. Another area of low pressure moving through western Russia will bring snow showers to the region. A warm and dry day is forecasted to impact the Middle East. Temps will range from the mid 20’s to lower 30’s over most of northern Europe, around Norway and Finland, while the upper 30’s to lower 40’s will be felt across a good portion of England and into parts of western Europe. The 50’s and 60’s will be in place over Spain and France, while the 60’s and 70’s will be over Italy. The Middle East will see temps in the upper 80’s to mid 90’s.
Weather Forecast for Africa and the Cape Verde and Madagascar Islands on April 2, 2013
The northern part of Africa will enjoy partly to mostly cloudy skies, while a few showers will develop across a good portion of central Africa. High pressure will bring partly cloudy skies to the southern part of the region into South Africa. Temps will be in the upper 60’s and lower 70’s across northern Africa, while the mid 80’s to 90’s will be found over the majority of the region; expect to see some mid 70’s across South Africa. Sunny skies will prevail over the Cape Verde Islands, while a few showers will push through Madagascar.
Weather Forecast for Southeast Asia on April 2, 2013
Sunny skies will prevail through the northern part of the region, while a few afternoon showers will be possible from Singapore to Thailand and also into Indonesia. The entire region will see temps in the upper 80’s with a few places even getting into the 90’s.
Weather Forecast for Eastern Asia and the island of (Guam) on April 2, 2013
Low pressure moving across northeast Russia will bring snow showers to the region. Low pressure moving through Japan will bring showers to the region including Tokyo. High pressure over eastern China will bring partly cloudy skies to the region; this will also extend into the Korea’s by later in the afternoon. Dry conditions will prevail from Hong Kong eastward into Manila. Guam will see trade winds and a few clouds. Temps will be in the -10 to 0F range across most of northern Russia; temps will warm into the 20-30’s for across portions of Russia and eastward into Northern Japan. Temps will warm to the 40-50’s for the Korea’s into central Japan, while the 60-70’s will be possible across a good portion of eastern China and also Hong Kong. The 80’s will stretch from Manila into Guam.
Weather Forecast for the Islands of (New Zealand) and Australia for April 2, 2013
Rain showers will spread across most of northern Australia, while partly cloudy skies extend from Perth northeastward towards Brisbane. Expect some showers, as well, over Sydney and parts of New Zealand. Temps will be in the mid 80’s across northern Australia and western Australia, while the mid 70’s will extend across central Australia and the 50’s will be found in Sydney and eastward into New Zealand.
