Weather Forecast for North America on April 10, 2013
A strong area of low pressure moving through the plains will bring heavy snow to places from the Dakota’s into the western lakes. Expect to see partly cloudy skies across most of Greenland and Iceland, as well. While increasing clouds will be found from the west coast into western Canada where a few showers will be possible along with higher elevations snows. Temps will range from the 30-40’s for southern Greenland into parts of Iceland. Look for 50’s and 60’s across a good portion of the east coast of the United States and upper 60’s along the west coast as well. Honolulu will see high temps in the 70’s.
Weather Forecast for South America on April 10, 2013
A frontal boundary along the southern tip of South America will bring increased winds and cloud cover to the region; outside of that, the remainder of South America should enjoy partly cloudy skies. Northeastern Brazil will see temps in the mid to upper 70’s with a few 80’s inland. Temps for Peru will be in the lower 70’s, while southward into Chile temps will fall into the 60’s and further fall into the 40-50’s across parts of southern South America.
Weather Forecast for Europe and the Middle East on April 10, 2013
An area of low pressure moving towards Europe will bring increased clouds to places like England and also Spain; most of the region will enjoy partly cloudy skies and calm weather with no major impacts expected form northern Europe to southeast Europe around Italy. High pressure and a very warm day with sunny skies forecasted for the Middle East. Temps will range from the lower 50’s across England to the upper 50’s and lower 60’s over Spain and into Italy. Temps across the Middle East will be in the 80’s and 90’s.
Weather Forecast for Africa and the Cape Verde and Madagascar Islands on April 10, 2013
Partly cloudy skies will cover most of the region, with the exception being the southeast part of Africa, and into Madagascar where showers and thunderstorms will impact the region from the Tropical Cyclone Imelda. The same region will also see strong winds associated with the storm. Sunny skies and light winds will prevail through the Cape Verde Islands. They will also see temps in the upper 60’s to lower 70’s, while South Africa will only get to the lower 60’s. The temps will warm up over Madagascar to the 70’s associated with the tropical cyclone which is brining warmer air into the region.
Weather Forecast for Southeast Asia on April 10, 2013
Sunny skies forecasted for India southward towards western Thailand, expect to see partly cloudy skies from Singapore southward into the Indonesia area; this region will also be dealing with afternoon showers and isolated thunderstorms associated with the monsoonal trough. Temps across India and including New Delhi will be in the lower to mid 90’s, while temps across Singapore and Indonesia will maintain the upper 80’s.
Weather Forecast for Eastern Asia and the island of (Guam) on April 10, 2013
A frontal boundary moving through northeast Russia will bring increased clouds to the region. Expect this to extend southward into northern Japan, as well. Partly cloudy skies will be found throughout eastern China, into the Korea’s and also eastward into southern and central Japan. Afternoon showers and isolated thunderstorms will be possible through Manila and also eastward towards Guam. Temps in the 50’s will spread from eastern China into the Korea’s and central Japan around Tokyo. Northern Russia will only see high temps in the 30’s. Hong Kong will enjoy temps in the upper 70’s, while near Manila temps will rise to the upper 80’s. Over into Guam the temps will be in the low to mid 80’s.
Weather Forecast for the Island of (New Zealand) and Australia for April 10, 2013:
A storm system moving south of Australia will bring increased cloud cover to southern Australia and into New Zealand, while a tropical cyclone brings strong winds and rain showers to parts of Northwestern Australia. A few showers will be possible across northeast Australia. Western Australia will see temps in the upper 60’s to lower 70’s, while southeast Australia, including Sydney, will see high temps only in the lower 60’s. New Zealand will be the cool spot for the region with high temps in the 50’s.
