Hello amazing people! Welcome to the Daily Round-Up, redOrbit’s one stop shop for all of the latest, greatest, most interesting, and most awesome music news of the day. Without further ado, let’s get down to business!
A new tune has been released off of the new Asher Roth record Retrohash. The album is available for pre-order on iTunes and if you pre-order now, you get this song, Fast Life featuring Vic Mensa, immediately as part of the deal. You can also take a listen back at 2dopeboyz.
The organizers over at this year’s Lollapalooza Festival are seriously messing with fans this year. This week they debuted a poster with the festival’s complete lineup…in print too small to read. Apparently if you squint hard you can read Eminem and Outkast, but we’ll have to wait until later in the week to know for sure. Check it out for yourself back at Consequence of Sound.
The mercurial rapper Blu has dropped a massive surprise release in the form of a 39-track compilation that he is calling soul amazing (part three). The compilation is up for streaming at Soundcloud, and looks like it features new and unheard tracks by Blu and his contemporaries. For those of you who have been waiting on a new release from Blu for ages, today is your day. There are sure to be at least a few fresh sounds on this thing. Check it out back at 2dopeboyz.
Swans have announced a new tour of North America for the 2014 summer. The band will travel throughout the United States and Canada in May, June, and July in support of their latest record To Be Kind. Some dates will also feature special guest Jenny Hval. You can check out the full list of dates back at Consequence of Sound.

All sorts of new releases are expected to drop today, including fresh material from Tokyo Police Club, Owls, Liars, The Hold Steady, Future Islands, The Colourist, Animals As Leaders, Boy George, Kool A.D., Barry Manilow, Memphis May Fire, Shakira, The Pixies, Jerrod Niemann, Wolfmother, and even Johnny Cash.
