Daily Round-Up For July 20, 2013
Hello sweet readers! Welcome to the Daily Round-Up, redOrbit’s one and only collection destination for all of the latest music news of the day. Let’s see what happened today!
Kid Cudi will have a special friend to help him out on tour this year. Sources are reporting that Tyler, The Creator will be joining Cudi for a few dates of the 19 total in his tour. Also to make appearances on tour are Big Sean, Logic, Schoolboy Q, and Juicy J. To see a full list of the tour dates and the guests for each event, you can head back to The Line of Best Fit.
We promise the new Robin Thicke record will be here soon! July 30th, to be exact. But in the meantime, there’s another track to tide you over. You can listen to Ooo La La by following the link back to 2dopeboyz.
Everyone loves a good new Lana Del Rey song. Ever since I heard Young and Beautiful from the Great Gatsby soundtrack, I was in love. And today we’ve been awarded with another new track. You can listen to the new song Black Beauty by following the link back to Stereogum.
I said it before about a week ago, but I’ll say it again. Poor Kanye West. The man can not catch a break when it comes to pressure from the paparazzi. And today, it seems like Yeezus had had enough. He actually flat out went at a paparazzi and took him to the ground. If you follow the link back to 2dopeboyz, you’ll find two separate camera views of the incident, as well as some pretty funny pictures from different angles. Check it out! In other news, Kanye is planning to design his own unisex high-fashion clothing line. If it’s anything like that $120 white t-shirt he marketed earlier this month, there will be plenty of quality in this line. That story can be found at The Line of Best Fit.
For those of you eagerly and obsessively awaiting Earl Sweatshirt’s new album Doris, you have reason to rejoice! The rapper released a 32-song mixtape entitled The Road to Doris this week – and it’s available for free download. If you have any level of interest in Earl Sweatshirt’s work, you will easily be able to find some worthwhile with those 32 tracks. The link can be found at The Line of Best Fit.
