Daily Round-Up For April 8, 2013

Apr 08, 13 Daily Round-Up For April 8, 2013

Hello! Welcome to the Daily Round-Up, redOrbit’s extensive and expansive collection of all the latest, greatest, and most important news to bubble to the surface of the wonderful world of independent and popular music. Another week has begun! I hope that you have a lot of lovely and fun plans for the week, but in the meantime, let’s knock out some news of the day.

Armin van Buuren has put out a new song, coupled with a new remix of the track. ‚ÄúThis Is What It Feels Like‚ÄĚ features vocals from Trevor Guthrie, is available to listen to for free by following the link back to The Dancing Astronaut. He also teased his fans as to the content of his upcoming fifth release. The Dancing Astronaut covered that information as well. You can find a link to that article by following the second link, again to The Dancing Astronaut.

Electronic music DJs have a lot of fun. And now, thanks to social media, you can get a sneak peek into their exciting lives. The Dancing Astronaut has put together a lovely little collection of the best Instagram pictures of the week, so if you are interested to see what producers like Skrillex and Diplo are doing at the moment, it would be worth checking out. And everyone’s Instagram screen name is included so that you can follow them on Instagram yourself for future updates! If you would like to check out the compilation of pictures, simply follow the link to the Dancing Astronaut.

Young Money rapper Tyga put out a new track today. The song, titled ‚ÄúMolly,‚ÄĚ fittingly enough features guest spots from Wiz Khalifa and Mally Mall. If you are interested and would like to take a listen, you can follow the link back to 2dopeboyz.

Every Sunday, the Dancing Astronaut puts together a mix of some great little electronic music tunes, to serve as a bit of an aspirin for the fatigue and sickness brought on by a long weekend of partying. I failed to include it in yesterday’s Round-Up, but I thought it was such a good playlist that it was worth sneaking over into the next day. So if you are still feeling a little bit out of it from this weekend, feel free to fire up this playlist and get your recovery started out right! If you are interested, you can follow the link back to the The Dancing Astronaut.

And in some awesome news, Phoenix appeared on Saturday Night Live! If you want to check out video from their performance, you can follow the link back to Consequence of Sound.

And that is all the news we have for today folks! Hope you have a great day! And check out my other articles here. Have questions, comments, suggestions, or love? As always, you can contact me through my email, or through Twitter @robincopple1. If you like I can include your message in a future edition of the Round-Up!

Thank you so much for reading redOrbit and The Daily Round-Up!

Stay safe you guys! I love you all.

Well hey, thanks bud! All I can say is if you want to do something like this, you just have to do it! It doesn’t matter how good it is. Some of the earlier stuff I’ve written is absolute trash! But you learn from doing. Good luck, and thanks for the kind words! :) <3
